Ah, yeah that might explain that the other project I am thinking of had like a A4 pic/table that had a rundown of about thirty stretches.

They went for a pretty looking front page and it crashed. Seems odd considering the amount of money this site must be making Kickstarter for basically just being a host.. they can't upgrade/sort that kind of issue.

Yeah, you can only get like 8~10 images on the front page before it starts breaking.. and the 'page editor' that Kickstarter has is awful. Less formatting options then Dakka's code allows.

They did not really stop unlocking things, there is much unlocked already and there is coming much as far as I can see. But 200k on day 1, I think it is okay to not think it would be such a blast. Just give them time for an appropriate update.

On a side note, this is the first time I've taken an early bird type pledge, if I want to add more funds to it, for whatever reason, it doesn't compromise my pledge as I'm updating the info etc at amazon?

Any ideas what kind of weapon options might be in troop boxes? These are almost too gorgeous to think about chopping up and concerting....

Not if you just add things. Sometimes you want to change your pledge to another level, then the early bird bonus is gone of course.

You can add things and pay for that post campaign with Paypal. From a message I got when I asked about adding things to my $40 pledge:

Hi Melvin,

We will indeed have a paypal option for after the kickstarter, you will then be able to up your pledge for some extra mini.

20k for the Tech Priesty chick (i.e. 200k Stretch Goal) just completed/was put up...They already went from $4,333 average per model to 20k for this one.....

I realised I made a mistake in the way I formulated my sentence.
The paypal option will be available after the kickstarter indeed BUT it will be available in a few days DURING the kickstarter for those whishing to use paypal as a payment option.

If the 'worked for several months nonstop on this project" then they should have all of this stuff ready to go.

For the amount of traffic they got on here, and for how generally well received their product is in the miniature community at large, I think this is a poor excuse.

Maybe I'm way off or haven't seen enough examples, but the disorganized beginning to a project seems endemic to the romance language countries in Europe...

They probably had all stretch goals for 25,000$, 30,000$, 35,000$ up to 100,000$ ready.
Guess they are currently reorganising the strech goals, so that they remain stretch goals boosting the campaign. No need to boost it more in the next few hours, I guess

The first three stretch goals were $13,000 for 3 models. Or $4,333.33 per model to tool for being available. We dont' know what they were valuing the other 3 characters, 2 command units, or 3 artillery at but the 180k goal for the "gubbins" was the last Stretch. Since they haven't unlocked anything else since then and added this as the stretch at 200k it says they want 20k for this model. Over quadrupling the price to tool a character they were using earlier.

It's a little dissapointing. What if we had pledged slower. Would we have gotten more models for our dollars?

Man Kickstarter needs an accordion collapse mechanism for these things... scroll scroll scroll... oo forgot what my pledge is, scroll scroll scroll...

Anyway, time to bump in 20 for the tech priestess. Pretty sure I'm leaning Kurganova, but that model is too good to miss.

Well, to be fair, it does appear to have a lot more parts to it.

guys just look at it this way ..with inflation riseing like it is by the time we actually get any of these models (im guessing 2016?) that $23 p+p may actually be cheap lol

Hurray the mini that got me to pledge is unlocked, everything is proceeding exactly as planned *makes finger pyramid of evil contemplation*

I think that when the next update will hit, it'll be a massive one detailing everything that has been unlocked so far. Would be handy to say the least.

I don't think I'd have a problem with it if they'd opened more of the normal "heroes" as part of the run to 180k. But without that it seems like 4x the original asking price for something that might actually cost 2x as much.

I think people need to relax a little and let them figure out what they're doing. I know they expected success but I doubt they expected 200k in five hours. I also don't think they anticipated having to babysit the comments tab all day long, either.
