But going down isn't so much a problem with Krieg, if you can get back up that is, as taking any damage reduces the cooldown of your action skill.
Krieg also doesn't just rely solely on his action skill, many skills you put points into can boost his action skill and his regular gun play.

You can do Solo Krieg, but yes, you need solid fundamentals.

I really don't find Krieg to be a problem and I play solo, this is my first character above 25 so I am really green at this game.

Krieg really depends on your build, knowing when to use your ability and knowing which targets to go for first.

Normally I run in with a shotgun and empty it as I go towards the hardest mob, use my ability at 33% and destroy the hardest mob and clean up house.

if I get low on life or go into fight for your life I go after a weak mob to bring me back with my ability ready to use and it starts over again.

it is not uncommon for me to run through an area using 3-5 abilities to clear the whole mob spawn.

bosses are a bit trickier but as long as you keep weak mobs up to gain full hp or save you from fight for your life you are fine.

Krieg when done right is a BEAST. it was not uncommon for me to do an entire area's missions with every mob and boss having a skull next to their name. Super badass mobs usually died in 3-4 hits with my special.

The Moon Base is going to include some new weapon types(Frost weapons!) like Hyperion Assault Rifles and Rocket Launchers along with Maliwan Shotguns.

Is it wrong I was hoping for the lesbian doctor? Not just for the potential romance options with Moxxi (drool), but a doctor going heal-happy on teammates would be the greatest 4-player addition of all time.

Well, considering that Sarah is going to be bringing a drone to the field rather than a turret you might still be seeing a defensively oriented character.

Where did you get this info? I can't even find it on the gearbox forums or Google. Or is this a question to which I already know the answer from us playing Friday that you can't answer in public...

I didn't even know there was going to be a season 2 - exciting.

So if Kan's information is correct, and the dev wasn't trolling the thread, our character count will go up to 8, and we'll be up to 5 dlc levels, plus whatever else they throw.

3 DLC packages, the size of Captain Scarlett's Booty.

Moonbase is DLC package #1 and releases at the end of July, DLC package 2 in August, DLC package 3 in September.
Characters are included this time.

What is interesting is that this jibes with an earlier rumor that we would see two of the "new characters for Borderlands 3" introduced before the next-gen consoles hit.

I'm getting absolutely nothing with google fu on this. It sounds pretty far fetched for something so big to get revealed in a random thread and not in a panel.

Bear in mind that they originally revealed "Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep" as a poster strategically placed in a photo of a staff member passed out.

I take it that by "recent arrival", Kanluwen means that what with(SPOILERSPOILER)'s passing on, there's a gap for a new Siren. Seeing how as there's only 6 *at one time*.

Seeing as Steele died and spoiler also died there are only 3 definite live Sirens including the new guy.
I just found it kinda odd that 5 of the galaxies 6 Sirens were on Pandora in less than a decade.

Not *so* strange when you consider that Maya only came after hearing about other Sirens already, and *SPOILER* was dragged along because of Eridium... which may well have something to do with the new guy turning up.

Yeah, but this is "new characters, here is who they are, we are doing 4 more DLC packages", which is a lot more of a reveal than "this is the name of the next dlc"

Now, the idea of another 4 DLC packs? Yeah that's perfectly likely. But getting a reveal with this level of specificity doesn't seem real.

It was more than "this is the name of the next DLC" that got revealed though.

It was a HUGE poster of Roland as a knight with Ellie wearing the 'slave Leia' costume and Butt Stallion in the background.
