While technically accomplished, the overall composition lacks cohesion. The palate is in my opinion too varied, and that and the snow together make it a bit too much for my eyes to enjoy

I agree with Million, it's good and all, way better than what I can do, but the snow is too distracting to the models, they kinda blend in and don't pop out.

I think it's those tiles that make it a bit busy, but the models themselves are great.

I think if the floor was a solid colour or at least two heavily muted colours (faded greys and browns) it would look leagues better. Mind you the painting is well done and the scenery is aces, the colours just let the product down overall.

I think that part of the problem is the marble floor. Because it's painted in very similar colours to Huron it makes him almost part of the background.

the painting is fantastic, however the display is almost taking away from the minis at least. The chaos guy kinda blends into the floor as the colors are fairly similar. It feels almost like this spacewolf threw the chaos guy down the rabbit hole then jumped in after him to whoop his $#@.

The models and scenery are greatly painted though 9/10 painting for sure just would suggest a more mellow atmosphere or like someone said above me maybe more muted colors on the floor would have helped. Definitely a piece to be happy with though keep it up.

This looks really good. The only thing is the tiles shouldn't be the same colors as the primary armor colors of the combatants. It causes them to blend in and it confuses the eyes. I would try a neutral color, even black maybe.

I agree as well. When I looked at it I couldn't pick things out at all. The tiles in the colors they are is just not appealing at all.

Yeah, agreed. It's an amazing job - but in a 2d photo, it's really hard to make out what's going on.

To be fair, it probably works a lot better in real life 3d...

It's well painted but the floor tiles being almost the same color as the armor of the combatants makes it a real mess to figure out what I'm looking at.
