What were they thinking when they design the demon codex. I don't want to hear any rant about how random it is, if you believe that you're just ignorant. It is by far the most un random, suppose to be random army in 40k. I don't even know why demon players roll on the charts they can just take what they want, and why the hell are they allowed to cast powers on khorne units. I'm so tired of fly monsters, 7th edition can't get here soon enough.

I love the Daemons codex, but you're severely understating how devastating the warp storm table can be to the Daemon player.

For example, I rolled the "get -1 to all your invulns for a whole game turn." So I re-rolled that with my Warlord, and instead got "Your Daemon Prince fails his 3D6 Ld test and now must disappear!"

Take a deep breath ... look at your codex ... it was written for the Fourth Edition of Warhammer 40,000. Back then it was an interesting army that relied on skill and some good rolls to do well. Its now the Sixth Edition of Warhammer, and things aren't perfect for an old codex. You don't have flyers and you don't have ways to combat them.
So what do you do? Turn to page 113 of the BGB and pick an Ally. Ok daemons don't get that many choices (at least you get some .... poor lonely Nids) and there some good choices. Take IG, the Vendetta is commonly thought of as the best flyer a round and enjoy.

Take a deep breath. You might need to sit down for this.
