I think they look like piles of skulls and eagles.

I paly Orks, Eldar and Daemons for 40k. So I have no interest at all in the new terrain.

In the product description it says the box comes with rules for normal 40k additionally to the rules that come in the Apocalypse rulebook

Oh come now! Where is the ork in your heart? Where is the daemon that prepares to rip out of your hea- *coughs nervously* I'll put my own opinion in now....

I play Chaos Daemons and Chaos Space Marines occasionally dabbling in Imperial Guardsman as a support unit and a chance to write some different fluff. I actually genuinely like the designs for the buildings granted I'm comparing it to the terrain taht has skelletons of Cadians on it which is a pain to take off. Problem is, yet again, they have entirely ignored pretty much every other faction. Sure you can explain it as attacking an imperial world or, using Tau as an example, Tau are attacked and use the terrain of an old imperial bastion on their more recently converted planet, and yes, you can chaos-ify it and orkify it, perhaps even nidify it but this means you are required to convert a model which isn't everybody's cup of tea. For myself, it doesn't have much of a point. In our group, we only have 3 imperial players and one of them (me) rarely actually uses them as loyalists (I use cultists as guardsman to ally with my CSM and Daemons).

Maybe I should have made this multi-post o-o

Anyways, it's good to know the rules come with them! I really want to have some Devastator fun with the fire-storm thing and the Vengence Weapon Batteries

I'm sure I'll find access to the rules somewhere or other, it's just a shame that they don't make them available so people can convert up some Eldar or Tau versions.

Eldar shenanigans are the best shenanigans!

I think they look fantastic. I bought two of each (1 of the Eagle Cannon though, that thing's huge).

I'll probably shell down the money because I have more of it than I have sense.

How could you, you of all people?
$165 For a Baneblade or Fortress of Redemption and you buy the small Eagle gun platform?

But seriously, GW WTF? It better be REALLY good if you're charging the same price as a Fortress of Redemption for it...

Will wait to see the 40k rules first I guess, but will pick some of it up most likely as it looks pretty impressive.
