That is actually a great idea for a temporary ban. Instead of getting the Banhamer, you'd be limited to a gretchin that can only talk in his annoying high pitched wails and cries. You'd also suck at just about everything. The more severe the offense, the longer your account will be forced to be a gretchin. Edit: The more you help build stuff for your team, the less time you'll have to serve. Like a Gargant... (now this is getting good.)

Hey! That's me! I'm super stoked, and talking with the guys about it is only getting me more excited. Been reading Eisenhorn in preparation.
It was actually kind of a perfect storm- I've been running tabletop RPGs for years... always been a Warhammer 40,000 fan... I watch Starcraft 2... AND I'm involved with an awesome recently announced MMO set in the 41st Millennium! Of course, I'm involved with JP's project independently, not as a representative of Behaviour... and Dark Heresy is a very different experience than we're aiming for in Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade. Just think of me as an experienced "celebrity GM."
Can't wait to get my dice on those juicy critical damage tables!

Oh, I didn't mean it like that. It just seems interesting to see a dev do his thang. ;P And apparently we enjoy the same things. :3

I'm just sad that the Tau are going to be 'johnny-come-lately' types, if at all.
The idea of starting as a Firewarrior with a Pulse Rifle, and grinding one's way up to a Crisis Battle Suit or a Stealthsuit just boggles the brains.

Do we know if they are going to use a class system, or a perk/ability system?
Just thinking, because guard is typically known as the weak humans with big giant guns attached to big vehicles. Perhaps they could have an "engineer" type character, that at different levels, their utility skills (thinking in GW2 terms here) grant them the use of Leman Russes or Earthshakers for a mission

IG aren't a playable faction so you don't have to worry about that.

The lead map/level designer for this game is going to GM it.
Players will be ItmeJP, TotalBiscuit, InControl and DJWheat. I'll be watching it live and knowing that JP and TB are there I'm sure they will be sneaking in some questions too.
If you want to watch it this saturday it's at www.twitch.com/itmejp and VOD's will be going onto youtube (in 30min snippets daily) over on his youtube channel of the same name.
I believe they planned to start around 7PM eastern time.
So yeah, nice opportunity to get a better look at one of the team members and his familiarity with the universe.

Also, quick question for the guys at behaviour, will you be attending San Diego Comic Con?

I'll probably end up getting this, and buying orks and tau when they release. It sounds fun enough, hopefully it isn't subscription based!
