Well, it does look like the warcasters are going to be $20.....which, I have to admit, seems a bit high, especially on a KS.

I assume its because they are limited runs, so the molds will get less use, and so they need to charge more per unit to make up the difference? But still... seems rather high. What did the Druid Gone Wilder sell for?

Somebody pointed out on the PP boards that Gastone is Italian.

Personally I lean more towards him being Ordic.

Yes, but the images all show "+20$" which usually means that if you wan't to get those extra models you'll have to add +20$ on top of your pledge.

Read the images again. They all say "Or pledge at X levels".

I don't quite get your all caps little rant there at the end, I simply said I was a bit surprised.

IIRC, Druid Gone Wilder was....$16? You can get the Kilt Lifter on their website now for $15.

It just means for me, if they are in fact $20, that I won't be getting all of them. I'll probably just get the Cygnar one and maybe another. If they were, say, less than $15 a piece (and for a KS exclusive, I think $12 would have been a good price), I'd have been more inclined to get all of them, just because.

Limited run+being a character+the coin and limited card version+Shipping. $20 is about right for the cost when compared to other single model character costs.

Trying to make a little beyond production costs =/= trying to fully fund an expensive project with profits
if you dont like it wait for the "real" models is a fully acceptable option.

Well, you did a very poor job making your point. Getting all caps-locky doesn't help, either.

And you apparently stopped reading my comment at the Kilt Lifter price (which, like the Druid Gone Wilder, is ALSO a limited run model, so it's a valid comparison) because I said I'm still going to purchase, at the very least, the Cygnar model. I simply noted that were they less, their chances of getting MORE money from me would have increased.

Well, Privateer doesn't "officially" open for another half hour, so I'd imagine we'll see this launch around 12 or 1 EST.

Which one of those were created to directly fund a video game and weren't just limited run models again?

Urk, I'll give them an hour and then flee to my warm warm bed. They better not have any early bird stuff or I'll be a grumpy Aussie.

And Hulk, I refuse to be fair, as is my right as a random person on the internet...but I do hope your guess is correct

The problem with sitting on the recently launched page and refreshing it every so often, you hit things like this http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1567917619/my-little-po-mo-volume-one-season-one?ref=recently_launched

Come on PP

Ah I have to give up, I need to be up in 4 or 5 hours and actually functioning. Dammit, at least it will be waiting for me on the morr-...later this morning
