Pics or it didn't happen, man.
I'm actually really interested in these. Glad people seem to be happy with them. Hoping I can make them work alongside the iron empire models from the raging heroes kickstarer when they come out next year.

I'm trying to figure out what you'd use them as, since they've got weapon teams like IG, but the models are entirely too heavily armored to be dudes in flak armor. I'd think maybe counts-as Sisters, with the Panzerschrecks as meltaguns.

I think they'll be fine as ig, I can see what you mean about them looking slightly better armoured than your average jungle fighter, but I would say that they were closer to flak armour than power armour. Just my opinion, of course.

Hey FarseerAndyMan , post some pics up , I'm thinking of getting a box or two of Stormtroopers and the heavy weapons but only seen google search pics.
How well could the parts be mixed with Cadians or even Space Marine Scouts ?

I use 140 of them as DKoK. Well, only about 100 infantry, then 20 on HWT and 20 on lizardmen mounts. Still have to get them all painted up after i get my Eldar in good shape.
Honestly the Eisenkern models are better than GW's in terms of model quality. Detail maybe a bit less, but the accessories kit you can get is absolutely incredible in the scope. 20 more heads, more weapons, tons of grenades, packs, pouches, and stuff that all fits very nicely to the grooves on the models. I had so much extra i started littering bases with them. Need to get that quartermaster on the job.

Thats good to know , how well would they mix with Space Marine / Scout parts ? I was kinda envisaging a force looking a bit like the character from Gears of War.

They are about 5-10% larger than normal guardsmen, but still 10% smaller than space marines. They are also much less bulky. I think scout parts would fit fine, but SM arms would be too bulky for the torso armor to look right.

One thing to keep in mind is that Dreamforge's Eisenkarn are a more "realistic" scale, and look almost feminine to the chunky GW guardsmen. With a simple headswap they would make excellent sisters. You could also run them as space Marines if you wanted, they definitely are close enough most people wouldn't mind
There was a lot of thought put into them and they look great because of it. The armor in particular is excellent. Every detail is nice and sharp, and the accessories sprue is just incredible. A single box of it could outfit 40-60 troops depending on what bits you want.
You can also use Warlord games German's heads and they'll fit really well. I'm using some to represent guys not wearing their mask (like they were on garrison duty or something) and it looks really cool.
The kits are worth the money and are cool to boot.

Did a poll of what people thought Eisenkern would work well as in the 40k general forum in this thread. People were very accepting of stormtroopers as both regular IG or as stormtroopers. Thread also has scale shots. Really like my dreamforge minis. GW IG minis don't come close imo due to multiple problems, mainly heroic scale things like really thick arms on cadians, cadian bobbleheads, bad catachan sculpts etc. Edit: Discussion needs a pic or two of painted plastics:

The Dreamforge stuff is really nice. I'd have gotten some but I don't really need an IG army. I talked myself into it with RH but come on, those girls are HOT!!
If I eventually go with a traditional IG army, you can be sure it will be the Eisenkern guys.

I plan on using mine as carapace armored veterans and also as inquisitorial henchmen. As far as them being realistic scale, not heroic with oversized arms, maybe they just have a purer human DNA gene pool on their recruiting world. Maybe regular guardsmen are the result of selective gene breeding for ten thousand plus years, which had made them bulkier. There's enough wiggle room when you have ogryns and ratlings availble.

I'm not exactly sure growing stumpy legs and huge heads and arms is a great approach to selective breeding.

Exactly, maybe they have a hardier constitution. Gigantic hands and legs are just a side effect.
Anyway I was just putting forth a flufy reason for the differences that might exist in humans across the galaxy in the 41st millennium.
Remember the physical description of the Davinites? They were ape like, with elongated arms, now legged and had large wide spaced eyes. They were quite different from your average human (probably due to chaos's influence)
