When you say Mephiston plus storm ravens, is that really so common it's a main meta list? Can't even remember the last time I saw blood angels over here.
Eldar and Tau are still new dexs to be fair, Eldar more so. We usually have a month space between a dex being released and it being used in a tourny for the bigger uk tournies.
Also to add one to Killswitchs list
Necron AV13 wall
I think they we will start seeing this a little more now, ghost arks and AB's and command barges.

Good man!, Wolves with also see a return for the best psyhic defence in the game!. I will be busting out a slightly different daemon list for northern warlords GT possibly, using it as pratice for the GT in november!

Tbh theres 3 tourneys across the uk over the next 2 weeks so i can report back the top 3 of them to give a rough indication whats doing well
Looks pretty much inline with the US tournament teams.
All except BA storm ravens. BA is basically dead in competitive play here.
What's screamer council daemons? Never heard of it.
Eldar is still new but they've got what it takes to be a top-tier tournament army.
Ravenwing? Only 1 person won with it (TSHFT). The rest is DA+IG combos.
I took the time to compile the recent major 6th Ed. GT Tournament winners. This list was recent up until a few months ago.
Dark Star Brad Townsend (Hulksmash) DA/IG (Best Overall)
Bugeater Brad Townsend (Hulksmash) DA/IG (Best Overall and 2nd Best General)
Indy Open Tomb King Necrons/CSM (1st)

What im saying is..its the wierd lists you need to be aware of. In england..if yiu go to a GT you will rarely get an easy game since all the top tiered players are within a few hours drive..unlike the US.
This means even mid tables you will find a tough gane against an unconventional list. This is the buggest difference. Winners is helpful to know but doesnt make the meta..it is the entire top 10 as if you want to win..you will need to play against those lists..or dodge them..not just the guy who came first. Only time that list comes inti effect is the invitational at the nova...so ill see you lads there

'It's all flyers! Flyers everywhere!' is the most-repeated, least-true canard of 6th Edition. Followed closely by 'Assault is dead!' and 'Tyranids are dead!' Eventually we'll stop hearing this nonsense, but by then it will be 7th Edition where 'Shooting is dead!' and 'Black Templar OP!'
