What happens to jubal's Hellbourne squad in the novel after Jubal gets possessed by Samus? There is no mention of what happened to them. They disappear without a trace? Also, how does Jubal get possessed?

Don't they all get killed before Loken finds him in that chamber?

When Loken fights Jubal, His squad just stands there because they dare not harm another astarties. I believe he got posses because He was jealous of another Captain or Sgt. It has been awhile scene I read the book so sorry if I'm wrong.

I am sure Jubal killed a few of them once he was possessed. Maybe the survivors got added to another squad who had taken casualties or maybe they just carried on as they were.

Either way, after Jubal's possession, they weren't really relevant to the plot anymore.

when he was jabbering on about seeing the word samus in the falling water. Loken asks him what happened to his squad and he says something along the lines of they didn't see it either. Then glances to the edge of the precipice he's standing next to, meaning to me that he threw them off it.

Yes he was jealous of Vipus because Loken choose Vipus over him to lead the 10th when he was doing mournvel stuff. He thought he should had been choosen because he was the first sargent of 10th and the next in line so he thought.

Chaos used his intense jealousy and stung pride mixed with a little hate to corupt him.

It's heavily implied that Jubal tried to teach them how to fly without a jump pack. Alas, without success.

Exactly. He was jealous and that somehow caused him to get possessed by Nurgle.

But how does the rest of Hellborne disappear without a trace? With no evidence of a fight or Jubal not getting a scratch? I'm sure whatever Jubal did to them, they put a fight.

You can do anything with the help of Chaos. Even make entire planets populations disappear, or turn against their natural rotation and burn in Chaos Symbols. If Chaos can do that then surely it can make an unwitting Astartes squad jump of a cliff.

Like loken and Co they were probably too stunned at first to fight back as it was thought impossible for a brother to turn on a brother. Likely they were standing close to him near the edge when he turned on them and took out half the squad before one even flinched. As you read with Loken' fight, Jubal had three or four Astartes trying to drag him down at the same time and threw them off like training dummies. Throne, he even backhanded Loken across the gap to fly into the far wall like it was nothing.
