Injuries, injuries everywhere

Cutler getting hurt is really hurting our shots at playoffs
Bradford, Cushing Finley and Foster all with injuries as well

Currently debating whether to study for my exams or paint some Deathwing

gak. I didn't see that Bradford went down too. Additionally CJ Spiller got hurt again, which is like saying water is wet, and Cincy's pro bowl corner Leon Hall presumably tore his Achilles.

Aye.. CJ is done for me this year, as soon as he gets dropped off the can't cut list he's gone. Jones Drew finally came off it last week and he'll be gone with the next batch of waivers, and Rhoddy White was binned last week. Seems I got most of the can't cut trash this year in the DCM league.

Glad I kept faith in Megatron though,

It's 1am here in Blighty, just getting comfy for the Broncos game.. should be a classic, and I'm sitting here with Decker, Welker, Julius, Prater and the Denver D for my league... not a fan of em.. honest.

What knee did Cushing blow out last year? Looks like he tore his left LCL and broke his leg if early reports are accurate.

When I'm watching the highlights and QB completes a pass I always think" Alright! Another Star Player Point!"

We were once so close to heaven, St. Peter came out and gave us medals; declaring us "The nicest of the damned".

I have no idea what a star player point is. Is that a fantasy term in Canada?

Can't say I've ever played it. Guess that's why I didn't get it.

Blood Bowl is by far the best thing GW has ever done. Orcs, Elves, etc. playing a violent form of American football. It's even more fun than it sounds.

Truth be told I don't really like miniature sports games. Dunno why. They don't do it for me.

Blood bowl is fun as hell. Did you ever play mutant sports for sega? Like mutant football/hockey/whatever, it's a lot like that but with miniatures.

Anyways so at 8:09 I changed from inidianapolis to fricken Denver/. That is literally the last time I ever second guess a pick day of, FML.

Naw. I don't really even like playing madden. I think it probably has to do with the fact that I played football through college and maybe football type games just don't do it for me.

I hate 99% of sports games. I loved mutant sports as a kid. Either way, thank you Indy now I don't have to hear about broncos possibly going undefeated!

Only winners get wings hillman, nice butterfingers on the 3 yard line LOL!

Every single other team in the NFL not 7-0...

I still believe we'll take the Chiefs at home and away this season, but things certainly have gotten interesting in the West.

It was his left he blew out last year as well. Hit looked nasty, not as bad as Dustin Keller's but still pretty serious

Losing Cushing again, losing Arian Foster, losing Matt Schaub, still coming within 1 point of defeating Kansas City...

The rookie QB did well enough, considering the circumstances. This team has too much talent (before losing Foster and Cushing this week) to be 2-5.

Time for Kubiak to take a hike, and take Schaub with him. Neither can win any game of importance. They both have Romo-itis.

Cleveland Browns... *sigh*

I'm thinking I need to move to a different city so I can at least have a decent reason for cheering for a better team.

Where's that Factory of Sadness video! Damn you Mike Polk Jr, your video speaks too much truth.

And the Steelers have a pulse!

Didn't realize how many injuries there were around the league until this morning (didn't watch any of the pre/postgame shows yesterday). Yikes.

That stinks. Then again, my team lost two starters -- one of them a Pro Bowler -- for the season in game 1. The Pro Bowler was hurt on the first drive. So I only have so much sympathy.

Heh... I hate seeing teams get clobbered by injuries... but, it's part of the game.

I'm a Mizzou fan... and right now they're 7-0 after beating two SEC ranked teams (Georgia and Florida). But, folks are critical of Mizzou's win because both Georgia and Florida are absolutely hammered with injuries. I find that criticism funny, because last year, in Mizzou's inaugural SEC season, we lost our QB, RB, and the OL... we got stomped of course.

Oh mother er! That really fething sucks that he got as injured as it is, but it does look like he's going to be fine (which is good ). The league is probably going to fine Gipson for a hit with his head/too the head. Which wasn't the case at all during the game. It was shoulder to shoulder. The injury most likely occured when Findley skidded against the ground after the hit...

And all of this is of course on top of Juilio Jones going down for the season last week.
