So, like the post title says, I'd like an alternative to the fugly GW one. I don't want something that's super-sexualized either, as I don't like the interpretation of Slaanesh with BEWBS EVERYWHERE.

And i really like Sersi's KoS, and I am trying to get in contact with him/her about procuring one, as I know several we're sold on ebay.

I like the model itself but nothing about it really screams God of excess and indulgence. The bewbs everywhere aesthetic is heavy handed, but makes sense.

I think it would be a good idea to look at the traditional seven deadly sins, focus in on one, and find a way to create a recognizable aesthetic to match. I think gluttony would be an easy one, lust and wrath would be good too but might evoke similar imagery to khorne or current slaneesh models.

Then there is greed....I think you could keep that model, and then find some stuff to go on the base like he's guarding it, like a troll.

Yes, I think if you want to go off of the beaten path with slaneesh. Then greed would be your best bet

Just bedazzle the crap out of him. God of excess? Cover him in jewelry, scarves, decorations, medalions, etc. Have bells hanging from his horns, have delicate silks wrapped around his arms. Make it look like the most ridiculously rich courtesan ever. Not sexualized, but excessive.

You could always go the heavy jewlery and gold route as well.

The only problem I have with the image and the model is it lacks the single breast that is the Mark of Slaanesh. Slaanesh is not the god of excess in one thing, but in all things. I do like the chain with the rune strung between the horns, though.


... and, yeah, boobs everywhere is kind of a thing with Slaanesh, after all, s/he is the Chaos God of pleasure, perversion and excess.

I agree with the jewellery idea, especially if you could model some piercings, which would fit the pleasure/pain vibe of Slaanesh.

What, the Crab-Cow of Doom? Eh, it's alright. I've been a fan of the more subtle/hidden aspects of Slaanesh for a long time, where you can, through Warp mind-fethery, have some horrifying mountain of daemonic muscle and scything claws hidden behind a simple, diaphanous silk veil, a banana hammock and a mind-entrancing musk.

It is, yes... but it's also 88 fracking British fracking pounds fracking sterling. That's like $150 US... which is way too much for a single model, I don't care what its statline is.

Maybe go the route of pleasure through pain like the EC did? maybe a Lucius look alike that's an attractive woman, then mutilate her with (still bleeding) cuts and scars?

I should say I like the sculpt, but its emblematic of the all-sex vision of Slaanesh that I think falls short of what Slaanesh truly is. I love the other 3 greater daemons from FW, and own the GUO. Planning on eventually getting The Lord of Change to so I can counts-as Kairos it...

As to the KoS, i might pick up a talos kit and kit bash it with a daemon prince, see what I can work up.
