Multiple combined frag/krak grenade bits!, 3 sets of power armoured lightning claws... the only downside to this kit i can see is chainswords with scrollwork on them. Don't like the BA ones featuring that as it just seems silly and a touch annoying to see that continue here. Other than that this makes me very happy indeed.

I do like that it features a Raven Guard paintjob. I hope that the Raven Guard will have some fluff appropriate options for them.

There are actually four pairs of ligtning claws in the box. I cut off two pairs and decided to use one claw from each of them.

Unfortunately, there were no sternguards to be found.

Those Vanguards look amazing - makes me glad I didn't get the Finecast ones. Can't wait for the Sternguards, the Chaplain and the Librarian. Was t there a new tac squad rumored?

Only thing is, GW is pretty strict with their marketing. Find it hard to believe that they'd send the new models out so soon AND the guys in the store were actually that stupid to put it on the shelf?!?

Ah well, can't be too lucky I guess.

Any rumors on rules yet? What can I expect to be facing?

Has anyone noticed that the Sarge appears to have a Grav Pistol yet?

All the excitement has led me to forget how to count! Yes between your models and the sprues there are clearly 8 lightning claws.

I'm good with all the models so far. I even like the Centurions, but perhaps I think of possibilities and not just a slightly warped, 2-dimensional picture. They look bulky, sturdy, slightly slow, but they remind me of that heavier suit in Iron Man 3 that held up a collapsing super-structure. It would have looked REALLY dumb to have them in a super dynamic pose with armor that bulky. Every idea people pitched based on the initial rumors were really no different than how these look.

How much are the stern/vanguard boxes supposedly going for?
I do love me some lightning claws.

They put me back 310 NOK. The new wraithguard cost 330, so slightly cheaper than those fellas.

Same price as the Eldar aspect warrior boxes.

That's an awesome set. Love the Axe, Sabre-ish sword, the relic blade, and the 3 TH/SS and 4 LC's. Looks awesome. The bits will be great for my counts-as force.

As I expected (assuming the Sternguard kit is up to this level of quality) they look excellent for kitbashed ICs.

I think I just had an orgasm looking at the vanguard. I thought it was impossible to love models like a human but i was wrong, me wants now!

Seriously though, just wow, and i know some people who will be sad that BT are going to be part of SM, but they will be prob be first supplement though.

One last thing, next month I am going to be sooooooooooooooooooo poor with all the cool stuff to get for my Ultras.

Interesting, veeeeery interesting. Nothing there for my Iron Hands apart from perhaps the MK VI with the targeter, but plenty of nice bitz if I ever get round to finishing my Exorcists.

Also, am I going a bit mad, or do those bolt pistols have a slimmer aspect than the ones you get with the old plastics?
