As a note, you cannot assault from reserves, including outflanking.

Really? I'll have to look into that. I know I can assault after deep striking but only because of my Blood from the Skies strategic resource, but I don't have my 40k rule book here to look into outflank. I guess we just assumed you could.

Seriously awesome game! If the rivers were somehow dangerous you might have impeded the swarms a bit giving you some needed time!

Waiting for next weeks Apoc game! Yes were all waiting!

I wish the rivers had been dangerous but unfortunately they weren't. I think it'll be quiet some time before we can have another apocalypse game but I'll try to put up some reports on some of our smaller games. This big game really motivated all of us to try to play a bit more.

As a note, the battle was fought at the confluence of the Monongahela and Allegheny.

I count assaulting reserves fair for 3 reasons:

1. We both did it.
2. On turn 2, I said, "You know, you guys could have put some of your reserves on in turn 1. This is Apocalypse."
3. GROWL!

I was glad they were cool with me using last edition's battlesheet for the Wulfen. They are 40 models that have extraordinarily limited use otherwise.
