Just wanted to post up here, Bogalubov and I will be getting a game in at card kingdom this coming saturday. 1750 point armies. Love to see some of the others about town stop in for a game.

Seapheonix and I are getting together this Saturday (Dec 7) at 10 am for a game at CK. Gearing up for next months TSHFT. If anyone wants to drop by and join us, we'd love to see more people. We will bring 1750 lists.

WOuld love to try out 3k fantasy to break in my new Lizards, but I'd be up for 40k as well.

Do you guys play fantasy often? Roughly 15 years ago I used to play Lizardmen, and was thinking of starting up again. I don't have those models, but do love the Warriors of Chaos.

Fun games. I was surprised at how many game were going on. Glad that more 40kers are meeting up at card kingdom.

I probably saw a few people in this thread at CK a few days ago when there was like four 40k games going on - that's a big jump for a store that's super prevalent in Warmahordes.

I've got ~1250 points of Orks and am relatively new to 6th Ed., so if anyone wants to play I'm down.

Excellent. I'm currently hitting the busy time of the year for me, but I would love to get a game in. I lean towards Friday after 4:00 or Saturday midday after work. I can bring either eldar or tyranids any time your free for a game.

I'm leaving Saturday afternoon for the holidays, but I could grab a game around opening (10AM) this Saturday if I can get an opponent for a morning game.

I'll have to double check the schedule, but I might be able to do a Saturday morning game.

So I've been creeping this post for a bit, I'm relatively new to the area and would be down to play some 40k at card kingdom. I've read that their 40k is generally Sunday, how is the turn out?

In my experience, it is pretty good, and growing. But I don't know the specific times, and what the odds are of finding a pickup game if you just show up. I bet others can fill you in on that.

Yay 40k

I just moved to Seattle and was wondering what the gaming scene looked like in terms of competitiveness. Do I need to bring a tuned list to play here or am I good bringing fun lists like death wing?

I have yet to see crazy tuned lists at the TSHFT tournaments. A lot of the imbalance put out by the internet super lists is invalidated by the secondary and tertiary missions. Emerald city slaughter last year had two dark angel armies in the top five I believe. If you are interested in the competitive scene I highly recommend coming to a TSHFT.

The one at card kingdom will be a little smaller, and I would tend to expect mostly easy going and fun lists.

How about pick up games? I should probably just head up and check it out for myself, its just due to carrying limitations at the moment I'd be bringing a small elite fun list instead of my SoB ( which still aren't par with tau or eldar by any means.)

Pick up games are a little bit tougher to come by sadly. Saturday early, and sunday early seem to be okay, but that's actually why we created this particular thread was to allow those of us in the area to set up games with each other. A couple of us live and work nearby so it's easy to come down for a game, and weekend opens up a handful more players. End of January my schedule should free up a bit more, and I would be happy to get a game in with you.

I will chime on this. I would be down at least once a month to play. I also have a buddy down in Fremont too. I might try for next weekend on a Sun. If the boss lets me go (wife).

If you're talking about the 12th I'll be around for a game if you are interested. That's probably be the first day I'll be available to play 40k anyway.

Mef989 sorry for the late response between kid being sick and wife, blah, blah... The 12th is right and I will be their around 1200 if that works. I have 2000 point BA.

Just so you know, directly across from Card Kingdom, next to the food bank is a fenced parking lot. I didn't know the first time I went, and didn't see it. Drove around for a while to find parking.

So...I recently finished updating my Dark Elves for the new codex at last, and the fresh-painted models are ready to go. Anyone for 3k this weekend? Probably Sunday.

The best place I know right now for pick up games would be at the Puyallup GW they say there is a good balance of Fantasy vs 40k there but I have seen a lot of 40k there the few times I have gone.

The one in Kent Station seems pretty good for it too, especially since the Supermall closed.

Yes, I play at Kent Station from time to time, and it is a fine store.

Planning on hitting card kingdom saturday to get in a game. Would love to see others there.
