Hello, fellow wargamers.
I would like to share my army with you. Showed are most of my current completed units, with many more on the way.
At the moment, I am using SM codex, sometimes allying with GK.
But it is not some regular superhuman space marines. Oh no.
The first marines of this kind were completed in the end of January 2013. I never really shared them anywhere but my country's small wargaming forum, as I did not know whether or not people would like the idea. However, just today I found the Slaaneshi Saurus marines topic in here and it seemed to me that people in here are generally tolerant to this kind of conversions.

Because the picture are a little too wide, I did a thumbnail-linking, for your viewing pleasure. Click the thumbnail to see the full picture.

Those unlucky souls have suffered a terrible fate of being stranded on a desolated planet, the radiation seeping through their damaged power armor, mutating their genes with those of the local wildlife over decades of exposure.
Fortunately, upon their return to the rest of the chapter, the Chapter Master saw a benefit of keeping them alive, rather then destroying them on-sight. However, other loyalists would not share that kindness and therefore, it would be outright dangerous of having the mutants around. Instead, it was decided to separate them from the rest of the chapter into the XIth company, stripping them off any chapter-identification and letting them exist in the far edges of the galaxy. They would only be called upon to aid their chapter-brothers in a fight, where no opposing souls would survive and where no other loyalist force could lay their eyes on them.
However, even being far away form most imperial planets, the "forsaken", as they came to be called, still face problems of by-passing loyalist forces as well as xeno races. Still fighting for their survival, the company's apothecaries adopted the mutated gene-seed as the standard, biologically growing new soldiers, rather than recruiting them and allowed the troop numbers to grow way beyond the 100-man limit.

I absolutely love these, very well executed! Well done. I once tried making Saurus-headed Chaos Marines as Possessed, and... well... let's just say they didn't turn out so well, so I can appreciate how careful the modelling must have been.

How about a tail, or a neck frill around the front of the sarcophagus? Also some bony protrusions (not quite spikes) along the top.

Thanks!
I, personally have not though about Dreadnoughts. The person who makes Slaanesh Saurus ("Emperor's Lizards") made it this way: http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/dd232/koksu_k/Space%20Lizards/Dreadnought1.jpg
Perhaps try head and tail from a dragon? Like GW's LotR one?

I was looking at this model and "fantasizing" about making 3 of those into the new SM Centurions http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Ta8gSHz8dFo/TIcFlXh35yI/AAAAAAAAACI/gSRHuIZcqPg/s320/BlackhideWrastler.png
However, it would be a very expensive project, which I can't afford

Thank you! I already got a lovely set of smaller wings from MaxMini lying around for that exact purpose. At the moment, I do not use assault marines too much, but as soon as they catch my fancy, I surely will make some!

Cheers!
I am a new beginner at Green Stuff work, so I am not yet able to make really good looking ones, but I am sure it will come with time I was planning on finding someone skilled enough to pull it off, but never searched actively.

I most certainly have plans for more units. Got a new HQ in the works as well as more tacticals. Hoping to see if I can successfully make Cavalry raptors into bike stand-ins. Also waiting for a new Carnisaurus to arrive. Although no idea on what it will represent.

"So much to do, so little time..."

Quickly finished a squad of sniper scouts along with a land speeder storm. The ML scout is magnetized, so I can switch between ML and sniper rifle.
The pictures are not the best, I will most likely take some new ones at some point in the future, alongside making a banner for them

The work continues on 10 Assault marines and a new HQ, which should hopefully be finished soon!

Love the second Company Master! IMHO I think the saurus-marines rarely work because their heads always look too big, but don't let one man's opinion hold you back! Keep up the good work

Wow. Maybe I *won't* be tossing my space marines away in disgust when I get my mantic enforcers... Maybe I'll be blatantly stealing the

BEST IDEA EVER!

Those look so much better than regular space marines it's a joke! Don't like space marine's squaty appearance (similar height to IG) BOOM space lizards, they're just well muscled and compact don't you know .

Wow. What TDL said. You rock.

Thank you guys for your kind comments! I am very happy you like it.
There is more to come in the following days.

@Brother Payne
Sure, the heads are large and would not fit too well if 40k was a proportionally-correct game But I feel like they do fine in "heroic scale".

@GrimDork
You are too kind, good sir. Expand the legacy!
