I'd just like to chip in with a point on the reporting of crimes. I'm unsure of the US position, but with the UK police, report anything that is a crime.

The cynical might say it is pointless as they won't do anything. However, all reports (in the UK at least) are logged and should be added to their intelligence systems. All UK police have intel departments who, over time and with enough reports, will be able to put together a pattern of the fraud and theft committed making any future action much easier especially if all the crimes, combined, mount up.

Edit - should clarify, that the Victim of the crime should report it - not all and sundry!

Who is the complainant, though? There's no actual evidence without a victim.

People on the internet can't just go around reporting other people, purely on the basis of suspicion.

It could all just be a silly game played via social media.

I've clarified the post somewhat - I did meant the Victim should report the crime not all and sundry otherwise you'd end up with a proper circus (as you mentioned).

This is from May or June. No clue about the details of the report, but it looks like he wants the protection of law enforcement in operating his venture.

That's it, I am getting tired of this guy and his shenanigans. It's time to get organized before trouble gets stirred up for someone who has actually been ripped off. We can take the same information to the same detective and get a fraud case going pretty quickly.

Texas has very strong laws on the books about advance fee fraud, mostly aimed at contractors who take advance money for home improvements and don't do the work. They apply to pretty much any service based business, however - anyone who has sent him money / something of worth and not gotten what was promised could be party to a complaint provided you can establish this was your guy.

PM me if you want to be involved here. I am sick of hearing about rip off artists in this community and do plan to take action. I am more than happy to do the legwork around swearing out the complaint and meeting with investigators to at least get this on the books.

So time to contact Forgeworld then since this waste of the human races oxygen is going ahead with selling them ( good timing DM wait till there packing for Games Day to update ) maybe some people should mention this to them this weekend

Legal has already been notified internally and externally. I know of two forgeworld employees who reported the titan when it first went into production from BCS and I also reported it and got a response that they'd look into it.

Note as usual, no pics of said goods. Which are stolen goods. So he is fraudulently selling stolen goods now lol.

"Alan Welson" shared this Update post from BCS, relating to a "Renegade" and "Khorne Hounds". I'm not sure if these are supposed to be Warhound Titans, or something else, but, having heard the sorry saga about BCS somehow nicking the designs of someone's original custom 3D printed Warhound Titan and trying to sell copies of it despite the author claiming to have never shared the designs nor permitted it's sale, this post set alarm bells ringing when I saw it. (I've seen the youtube video response by the creator of the Titan).

Unfortunately, Sami doesn't seem to care about the particulars. Slightly off topic fer a second: I suffer from severe depression, I will actually get in a zone where I could build about 1500 points of converted orks in a night when severely depressed. When I suffer, I need to do anything to take my mind off of the pain. So I will often Build, write, and paint within a night or two while forgoing sleep.

But everyone knows Mandelbaum's MO, this obviously isn't the case

By no means am I trying to say mandelbaum is in any way doing what I do. I'm merely attempting to dismiss a stigma that people with depression are so crippled that they do nothing. Some do the opposite.

I'm not dumb or blind enough to see the evidence against him and be on his side. I've been following this for a bit and commented on this very thread in the past. He's an alleged criminal. I just saw the comment and read it as a stereotype at people with depression. Not trying to stir the pot, just chiming in.

I guess he was lacking attention after 2 weeks of quiet. That being said, since he has decided to pursue BCS for the time being, he is either smokescreening for a second scam, or, he has actually spent money trying to put something even halfway resembling the warhound files he claimed he has to pull a giant 'told you so' on us, and pretend like those were the files he was talking about all along in an attempt to discredit us.

At this point, he must realize I ain't BS'ing that I can find him whatever name he is using, so it may be time to try to discredit us since he can't shake us.
