So I put this in news and rumers but its not getting any love.
WarGamerGirl who makes amazing WM battle report videos (probably the best produced on YouTube) just launched a kickstarter for WM Terrain. Its all clockwork and cool.
^ Agree im all for girl wargamers just idk what it is about her voice. Her Bat Rep videos need more light, i feel like im in a huge room with one light on when i watch it. Her tables are boring, im just not a fan. I think i know what it is, She sounds more like she is doing it as a "job" then as a hobby.

Eh if a) I collected/someone I knew well collected Cyriss and b) my local store didn't already have a whole mess of terrain, I might go in for this...but honestly, I'd probably still skip it. Terrain isn't too hard to make, and I prefer wilderness sort of terrain to spires and what not.
I wish I had time for all the game systems I own, let alone want to own...
Waiting for my shill money from Spiral Arm Studios
Nice terrain.
Hopefully she'll do some other themed terrain as well. That's some quality right there
I like her Batreps because they are very clear and concise, something missing from many battle reports.
Self-proclaimed evil Cat-person. Dues Ex Felines
Cato Sicarius, after force feeding Captain Ventris a copy of the Codex Astartes for having the audacity to play Deathwatch, chokes to death on his own D-baggery after finding Calgar assembling his new Eldar army.
I backed it. I don't watch batreps so IDC about that stuff.
I just thought the pieces were very nice and I like to support start ups. Plus I wanted some. I can't make anything a fraction as good even if I spent all my free time on it.
WarGamerGirl posted on the Muse on Minis forums and wrote:
Hello all.
I appreciate everyone's interest in my Kickstarter project, we've put a lot of hard work into it.
I also appreciate everyone's concern with our ability to fill orders. We just finished putting together our second compression chamber and have already started casting pieces. If we do end up going past our deadline, it shouldn't be by much.
Also, we're adding some more models to the lineup before the Kickstarter is over. Several people have suggested doing bases, so that's where we started.
Tommy is also working on a set of wall sections that fit the "clockwork" theme as well, so those should be up soon.
Again, thanks for all the interest and support!

Hmmm well she was at $10,600, just checked and its slipped down to $9900. I'm thinking lack of updates and stretch goals is making people drop out...... that and $25 for 12 bases is more than double the cost from folks like SWM.

I agree the lack of exposure she has had on the project made me think twice about pledging.. With twelve days to go, there is less than 30 comments so it looks like she could careless about being in touch with the people backing her project..
