Outside of table top games what are your main hobbies?

I enjoy building larger model kits, specifically 1/350 scale WW2 ships. I'm currently working on a Tamiya IJN Yamato kit (about 75% complete, need to finish the PE bits, apply wooden deck, and paint).

After that I'll be working on my 1/350 Hasegawa IJN Nagato and a 1/350 HMCS Haida (cool little destroyer that used to be docked in Toronto). - I wouldn't mind having a Bismarck as well one day.

I also wanted to try something different so I ordered a 1/60 Perfect Grade Strike GAT-X105 Gundam kit (arrived yesterday!).

Writing.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

I do old fashioned PnP roleplaying twice a week. Wargames and boardgames when I can. Computer games in random downtime.

Right now on my computer I've got Starcraft 2, DoW (all) LoTRO, Civ 5, and Just Cause 2 in my rotation.

RPGs active are Pathfinder and classic SpaceMaster.

I guess another hobby would be cooking. Tried two new recipes this week. Oatmeal molasses raison cookies, and a sausage/peppers/mushroom risotto. Both turned out well.

I'm a gun nut in every sense of the term. I also find I really enjoy the painting and converting side of the tabletop gaming hobby. I play video games, dabble in building computers and write poetry. I also do photography on an amateur level.

However, firing ordinance at someone isn't nearly as threatening as firing ordnance at someone.
Ordinance is a local law, or bill, or other form of legislation.
Ordnance is high caliber explosives.
No 'I' in ordnance.
Don't drown the enemy in legislation, drown them in explosives.

Video games - Mostly console gaming, but I'm looking into joining the PC Master Race soon.

Firearms - Mostly target and trap shooting. Not much of a hunter, and skeet is fun, but I prefer trap.

Music - I play bass and dabble in guitar, played trumpet in middle/highschool, and go to as many concerts as possible

And I occasionally work on cars and play airsoft...but those hobbies are just too expensive anymore

Edit - I also play RPGs every Thursday with a group of friend. Switching between Pathfinder and Hunter every other week right now.

Model warships. Mainly 1/700 scale plastic due to a combination of limited budget, lack of space, and a lack of adequate dust protection, though I do have a few 1/350 kits of the smaller variety in the stash.
I've just finished my latest build: a Trumpeter 1/700 RM Roma - a truly beautiful ship. Next up is a Tamiya 1/700 HMS Rodney.

Guitar. My recovery from wrist injuries has made sufficient progress to allow me some time on the Telecaster; anything by Ed Van Halen, Maiden etc, and just rock in general.

Then there's my usual diet of cycling, hillwalking, reading and xbox.

You'd be surprised. Entry to the local field is $15, a 5000 count bag of bb's is $25 (and I'll burn through that every time I go)...and I have terrible luck with airsoft guns, so I'm always spending money fixing the damned things. Do I love playing? Sure, I've been playing for six years, and I go as often as I can. But I now put priorities into shooting real steel - I get more enjoyment out of it, and I can justify the cost a little easier

Another Lego Star Wars fan? Awesome! If you don't mind me asking, how big is your Imperial Army?

As for myself:
- Lego Star Wars
- Reading books, mainly science fiction
- Playing the guitar (all types)
- Listening to music
- Watching films, mostly super-hero films
- Thinking

That's what I like to do, but being 16, schoolwork gets in my way a lot more than I would like.
