the normal sized head is there to show the riptide is a suit of armor, not a walker.

Oh and I think the ST would be much better with some rotors.

No the normal sized head is there because whats the point of making it larger? If all of the sensor equipment fits inside of a Crisis suit head why is there a need to make it larger?

The reason I posted was supposed the official the designers gave for the head size.

What is the point of the head then? The model looks better without it. Its not like the person's head is actually in that thing (oh god i hope not.... but with GW maybe). Whats the point of having a tiny head when the sensors are inside and there is sufficient room for a person to rest.

The point of the head is the same Fething function that this has on the predator drone

its a freaking camera with various optics to allow night vision, and other visual aids to the pilot.

Most true-scale marines look incredibly dumb.

Another really bad model that comes to mind is the old dark eldar scourge... it was a dark eldar.... with a jetpack

Every Terminator is like that though.

I actually quite like thunderwolf cavalry, I mean they are crazy over the top but if you're fielding them who cares thats just what they're all about, a ludicrous charge in style, on a giant wolf. I personally think the unhelmeted SoB look really ridiculous.

This kid who used to come to my store would make up all of his own rules and whine that no one wanted to play against them. His Chaos Blood Angels chapter had a Primarch that was trapped inside of an Ironclad Dreadnought on a BANEBLADE. It was held together with gorilla glue OOZING out of every crevasse. The worst model GW has released that I've seen is easily the Nightmare Dragon in their Warhammer Fantasy Battles Collector line.

That master of marches model it truly bad. It also wins the worst excuse/ name for a model in history. The whole thing just hits that rage spot in my head.
Not sure why there is so much hate for the centurians or dreadknight. I quite like them.

Aside from the silly-looking claw (even back in the day it was silly IMO) there is literally nothing wrong with that sculpt. "Dumb" is not a word I would use to describe it at any length.

That's exactly what I thought, lol.

That Ghazkull is stupid! (Actually it's nearly 30 years old, and fit perfectly with the entire rest of the Ork range aesthetic.)

You can't compare 2nd edition models to the ones nowadays, they will obviously fall short. You compare them to all the other companies putting out models in the same era. Some of the Warzone range was laughable.

Warzone was indeed pretty poor...

But there were some models in the 2nd Ed range that have held up ok. Most of the second Ed Aspect Warriors are just as good as the current versions. 2nd Ed Daemonettes are better than the current plastic ones, IMO, if not as good as Diaz's version in between.

Tyranids from 3rd ed. 40k. So...2nd ed. Tyranids if you're going by the iteration. Although I would have to argue that The old Advanced Space Crusade Warriors and Stealers would be 1st ed.

This crap is what I'm talking about though...
