The new $300 pledge level is up.

Now is the time to grab it *or* grab an early bird slot since a lot of people are ditching their early birds to get it.

LOL moved one pledge to $300 and managed to snag a better early bird for the other one.

Well... that definitley had the desired effect. Total is flying up. Nice to see after the long wait for the flying saucers. Not that I doubted it, but Mantic seems to have this KS thing down.

There's 10 $144 Early Birds up for grabs right now, if you want in on this kickstarter, even "I might drop it later" speculatively, now is the time!

Comment from Atenocity's workshop on the wrecked car photo

there's more too come in varying degrees of destruction, on this one the front windscreen is shattered but you probably cant see the shatter-effect, back rear is also broken... but this is one of the more intact versions. Also, as its resin its easy enough to scribe-in your own damage to windows... but for more damaged wrecks...just wait...

Hmm... $12 for Martian Dredd.

Was looking forward to that one, but not paying GW prices for it, especially not during a kickstarter.

If that's the discount KS price then it'll probably be $20 or something at retail. :/

Might be extra licensing royalties to pay to Mongoose there.

I'm hoping for a Martian character bundle later in the campaign. $12 is a little much

I wouldn't be surprised if that Dredd Martian ends up bundled with something else.

All the other comic characters did.

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

Maybe some Mega-City One Judges from Mongoose? Mantic helped with the Judge Dredd Kickstarter last year

I'd love to see more of the IDW crossover stuff.. But its probably not that likely.

I wouldn't say no to some plastic Judges. Did any of the dark judges show up in that crossover?

It's a shame Nemesis never tangled with the Martians. I still have to content myself with that lame Indyclix figure of him.

No Dark Judges yet. And Mongoose is currently working on a pretty nice looking Nemesis miniature

Nice to see Antenociti will be working on this one too. I thought they'd been rather quiet of late. Maybe they'll make an Optimus Prime truck as scenery. Slightly off topic, but I wonder what ever happened to their own Kickstarter?

There's some $142 EBs available now if anyone wants to hop in quickly.

Edit: And Deke is in! Another goal down in a matter of minutes.

Mantic have been really smart about this.. effectively they've come up with a way to replicate the day 1 "early bird surge" later on in the campaign.

This could easily net another $200k over the course of the weekend and put them at $500k with 4 weeks still to go.

remember AW is fulfilling all the resin terrain from Deadzone, I'm sure it's keeping their shop busy!

Thanks for that link! I will own a Nemesis figure that I get to paint myself some day that doesn't look like a lump of pointy green coal!

Nice to see what I'm assuming are Kleggs.

Just a quick enquiry. I know that single figures are single piece plastic minis, but when it comes to the flying saucers (and robots to come etc etc) are they multi part plastic kits or single piece?

The saucer is one piece plus the stand from my understanding. They haven't said anything on the robots and other things as they haven't revealed them yet.

Cheers Squall,I guess that fits the quick "pick up and play" aspect of the game. Any add ons such as weapons and grabbers could just be simple "plug in" affairs akin to the Rivet Wars tank characters.

Yeah, they have been showing the pilot seperate, so perhaps he will have to be glued in, but I have gotten the impression that the saucer itself is a single piece kit. I think they're really going more for the lighter board game than the heavier wargame with this.

I'm not sure whether this is an intended effect, but it also had the effect of me going: "Well, that $300 option is certainly attractive, but I think I'll get more mileage out of doubling my $140 IA pledge. I'll just go and do that now..."

It has made $300 a new "sweet spot" in pledging, which is...bonkers for a board game based on a relatively obscure IP! And yet, I wouldn't even touch stuff like Kingdom Death due to the prices (and the...unpleasant sheen to many of the models).
