I emailed Sarah about missing item from my missing items shipment for wave 2 of DeadZone. It took her a wek or two to reply but she said she would get my missing missing items sent.

So I would go with contacting her.

Still nothing. Should I email Stewart today or give him one more weekend?

People are still receiving them. I'd wait. I am waiting, in fact.

Mine arrived today - no notification received beforehand. I have to say the boardgame plastic turned out well, the Tiger Corps and Bounty hunters beng particularly nice, the only issue seems to be with thin parts as it warps or bends very easily.

The mat is a bit disappointing the print is very dark I hope this is a once off as the DZ one turned out fine.

Dump everything in near boiling water for a few minutes, then put them the right way up on a level surface. This will get rid of almost all warpage, including the uneven base bottoms.

I played scenarios 5 and 6 tonight. Incredibly fun. We had a shy giant bug move on and off the table repeatedly, burning cows trampling civilians and a flying car bounce right through the main battle line without hitting anyone.

Make sure to use the Night Fighting rules with scenario 5, rather than scenario 6. They are printed on the wrong page.

Hot water didn't work to permanently fix my Edwyn's sword, does the water being boiling make the difference?

It does when you spill it on your lap.

I can't imagine that straightened anything.

Boiling water seems to work better for Bones plastic than just hot water. The hotter the better, apparently.

I'd probably sit straight up in my seat before collapsing in pain!

Good to know about this boiling water thing. I shall try it the next time I go about fixing something.

I'm impressed with the plastic Martians, Mutant Ant and Tiger Corps. When do the US soldiers and Mutant Spider hit retail?

I think the soldiers are already available although I'd like to see a bulk group discount at mantic, 2 bucks a piece isn't terrible but it's not smash my wallet into the screen exciting either.

No word on bugs, although they should be sooner than later on the release schedule as they're part of the first expansion book.

As much as I might not buy the soldiers themselves, the box game is 50 bucks at miniature market and that's getting tempting....... 60 dollars worth (including 3rd party discount) of models, plus scenery, and extra dice (and especially the cards for playing more than one game concurrently). Actually 60 dollars worth of models I could buy separately, plus 10 heroes. A dollar and a quarter a piece before you consider scenery and extras. Plus I like the martians in both design and actually painting them.

Did anyone get their extra wall sections but no connectors?

I received the 'KS freebie bundle' bag which had 2 wall bags but no connectors.

I also received no wall sections for my 2 x escalation add ons but thats a seperate issue

Exactly the same for me. No Escalation terrain, 2 wall bags with no connectors in the freebie bag.

Just got a look at my wrecked resin cars (Road Rampage add-on?) - two have ridiculous amounts of flash in places that will be almost impossible to address/remove without seriously ruining essential details.

Ugh.

I can't find any on my upside down car, there's a bunch of places that look like they're meant to be dirt maybe, but it seems pretty sharp.

Are you talking about how the police car kind of has a filled in negative space under it?

Or do you have something else going on?

So you finally got your rewards? Glad to hear it. Shame about the resin cars and their quality, though. I thought they were made by Antenocitis instead of Mantic?

I wonder what you will think of the Robotech minis...

I'm very tempted to get more Mars Attacks troops from Miniature Market, but the prices don't seem too crazy. Besides, I'm really waiting on the mutant spider.

Let me know if you can't find any online and I'll take some pictures and post them the next time I get a chance.

I have the wrecked car set with the Hummer too and mine is fine, apart from the obvious issues:

1) These are smashed-up die cast cars, you can still read a faint "Made in..." on the bottom of the Hummer.

2) They're significantly oversized

They all appear to be like that - from people's responses it is possible that they are sculpted like that and the "flash" is mean to be dirt or flames. I think I'll go for dirt for mine as I bought them to fill a junkyard.

Its a shame that we didn't get to see any concept sketches for these pieces as that would have clarified things.

I thought some people in this thread noted that their cars did not actually have this 'problem' and/or 'feature' though?

The "flash" is there to cover up the "Made in China" and other copyright stuff.
