From twitter (translated from Spanish by google translate:

when asked about start time:

"I would say that we will announce soon, but go tell the time in HOURS"

and Early Birds

"No, all perks are unlimited, do not worry"

so could be a midnight launch (midnight where I'm not sure) but no EBs is what I'm getting from that (pure speculation on my part)

Y'know, I do like a good early bird and whatnot, but I actually appreciate them not following that path here, especially after watching the cluster-frak that happened with SoBs' EBs (basically, really small clusters of simply staggeringly good deals).

I wouldn't have faulted them $5-10 off the first couple hundred or something, but if they want to keep everyone on the same footing, I won't complain.

It was supposed to be launching Nov22 (probably Spain time), so that'd very likely be 'today' American time.

Brace for impact.

Possibly tomorrow.

Unless Google is lying to me, it's only 7:32 pm on the 21st for them. Though it is possibly they intended to start at midnight for them, thus in the afternoon for North America, with an assumption that NA and their European brethren will be contributing heavily including at the end.

Basically, when they start is less important than when they'll finish. Obviously they have to finish at an inconvenient time for someone, but preferably not during the wee hours of the morning for one of their bigger markets.

Edit: also, given the apparent lack of early birds, aside from anticipation, it doesn't really matter when it starts. Be it now, tonight, or tomorrow for those of us watching, it's a month long campaign, so we'll all have plenty of time to join in.

I have to save some money for this. It'll give me time to see the advances they reveal during the campaign. I hope I'll be able to get the cool "all included" perk.

Really tried to find a gif of Peter from family guy excitedly clapping and laughing in the way he does, but sadly couldn't find one!

Very characterful box art - have to say I prefer the Les Edwards art for the previous, GW version, but this isn't bad!

This of course remains to be seen - and could potentially cause me to not back this one.

I really do hope the miniatures are high quality though - and I do have faith.

I mean, there's no way they'd screw this one up, right?

Yay for Resin... Not so much for many of these questionable plastics. I at least know that resin is what it is in most situations.

What kind of resin does GameZone use in their existing models?

It says quality plastic resin. It's one of the questionable plastics you despise (need some reviews out from the DE stuff they've released).

So is this starting today or tomorrow?

I is confused.

Will continue to reload Kickstarter until I see the game show up then.

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

All the GameZone models I own are metal. I don't think they've sold/made plastic-resin models in large quantities before.

I'm afraid of Finecast.

Depends on where in the world you are, but if it's 18:00 Spain time, it'll be Noon US East Coast time.

Ah, coming here and reading this thread is so refreshing. Over at boardgamegeek.com folks are working themselves into a frenzy over who *really* has the legal rights to publish Heroquest. Obviously, it is some kind of a plot, and Games Workshop will step in at the last moment to crush the whole project.

GW was apparently only hired as a consultant of sorts to make the minis and add their special sauce to this old Hasbro product.

Less than 24 hours now...

I play...

Sigh.

Who am I kidding? I only paint these days...

Exactly!

That's my fear here too...

And since I'm already getting a lot from KINGDOM DEATH, MYTH, and I'll probably be in deep with BRIMSTONE...

...this one really needs to knock it out of the park for me to even think about pledging!

Yeah, they're simply losing their little minds alright. Someone should call in professionals before they hurt themselves or someone else. [/sarcasm]

Gamezone has been transitioning to PVC over the past year. Their Dark Elf spearmen and cavalry are now available in PVC (at a tremendous savings, like a dollar per model) and their High Elf spearmen have just been released. I have the Dark Elves on order.

If they're as good as the Avatars of War PVC pathfinders, then I'll be very happy.
