I could have sworn there was a rumor of a Salamander supplement around the same time as Steel Legion. Is that no longer on the radar?

That was part of the whole "Warzone Armageddon" rumor which made little sense, as it was not only wishlisty in the extreme but ignored the fact that Warzone Armageddon already exists in the Apoc II book.

I have too much hope pinned on Alpha legion supplement because I know GW is only building hope in order to crush it.

The fluffy thing for them to do is downgrade deamons to allies of convenience and upgrade IG to battle brothers.

Chaos isn’t a pit. Chaos is a ladder. Many who try to climb it fail, and never get to try again. The fall breaks them. And some are given a chance to climb, but refuse. They cling to the realm, or love, or the gods…illusions. Only the ladder is real. The climb is all there is, but they’ll never know this. Not until it’s too late.

So no Salamanders supplement? That's disappointing. Unto to the anvil!

I'd say the fluffier thing to do would be to have the Alpha Legion supplement disguised as a Salamanders supplement.

I'd be very surprised if any of the supplements changes anything of significance in the allies table, FOC or introduced anything other than one of weapons.

If the White scars, Black Legion, Farsight, Hive Fleet Behemoth and Ultramarines hard copies are coming out two months later than the digital copies then would it not be logical to conclude that the Alpha legion hard copy will come out in March and Steel Legion in April?

Are there any other whispers out there about Steel legion dex/models? After finally reading Helsreach I really want to have some steel legion allies but should I just wait or are these rumours too farfetched?

Way way to early to be thinking about necrons. They just had an update. If you think about it though assuming that the pace for releases stays the same as it is now then you can plan to look for them after nids, ig, ork, sisters, BA, SW, DE, and GK, so if they are gonna continue to do what four armies a year? than you can start looking around the end of 2015 or early 2016. If they go back to the pace that they had been going before 6th ed... Then you can start to look for necrons in 2018. But in all seriousness you should not be asking for rumors for things just reading the rumors that pop up...

I can't tell if you're kidding...but I also can't resist the bait.

They came out right before 6th edition, and the rules within their codex were clearly written for 6th edition (as they just didn't function well in 5th). They've had FAQ's since then, as well as kick-ass Forgeworld releases. They were also featured in an Imperial Armor book as well. Granted, GW has said that Supplements will come only for the books that have hardbound 6th edition representation, but that's not to say they won't consider a Dynasty Supplement of some sort down the road.

Well we now know that the White Scars supplement prediction is wrong.

It will be interesting to see what else is proved right/wrong.

So i've got some juicy SOB rumors from a reliable source along with Greyknights. (they go hand in hand)

SOB:

Saint Celestine gets a big overhaul in fluff, now Brother CeleStan and Str10-ap1. (Rumor says GK can take him too as HQ though he has Nemesis force armor.)
Same point cost.

Lose exorcist

Rhino's now in heavy slot

Seraphem lose jumpack.

Grey knights:

Gain exorcist

Rhino's are now free with squads of 10

New jump HQ with melta that has an ability to get a 2+ invuln

No Draigo

Paladins are 3 wounds EW and drop 3 points

New upgrades and wargear:

Nemisis force armour: When a model suffers one or more unsaved wound, armor deals the number of unsaved wounds back to the unit that originally dealt them, counts as force weapon hits can activate force armour to ID, no saves allowed.

Psych-in grenades: Drops psycher to int 1 if they charge.

New USR: Before the game begins but after deployment roll a d6 for every grey knight unit on the board, on any result of 2+ you win the game, no saves allowed and opponent dropped to int 1 can activate force weapons to immediately gain all enemy models and money in his/her wallet.

I find it amusing how Mr Prediction Monkey, with his extensive list of rumoured releases, completely missed the Sentinels of Terra supplement, which is supposedly the first one out.

October:
dark elves wfb - Did he post this before or after the leaks hit?
White scars supplement digital - I thought it was Fists according to the leaked picture?

And with all this detailed info on the digital releases, how did he miss the Sisters of Battle digital codex?

November:
Nothing about the DE second wave? Seriously? How can you have a release schedule and miss that?

December:
Bundles for fantasy and 40k - This is just a guess. No details means he's pulling stuff out of the air based on what happened in previous years.

February:
Bretonnians before 9th? B.S.

Yet another thing not mentioned by mr Unconnected Monkey: Iron Hands supplement for November. Not on his schedule whatsoever. No Ultramarines supplement. That makes nothing correct so far for the first two months. Who's suprised? Hopefully nobody.
