This special purpose tank was intended to fight on cross country terrain, inaccessible to conventional tanks, acting as a heavy breakthrough tank, and if necessary withstanding even the shockwave of a nuclear explosion. It was planned as a tank of the Supreme Command Reserve.

The T28 is the other 4-tracked vehicle of which I am aware as a kit in 1/35th scale.

There is also a kit by Accurate Armour but it's very expensive.

I would have bought the T28 kit but the A39 Tortoise kit came out about the same time and I bought that.

You, sir, are inadvertantly trolling me. I'm grinding (pun intended) my towards that tank destroyer in the Xbox World of Tanks beta currently. Argh!

So awesome! I feel like these tanks should have appeared in one of Connery's Bond films.

The reason I bought rules and became a real wargamer was because I wanted a properly thought out structure to govern the action instead of just making things up as I went along.

Incredible! It is one of the least produced tanks in history.

This kit sounds better than my one as it contains an alternative, larger calibre gun.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.
