I'd speculate that the original heads are provided as well just no longer pictured (or else why give you 5 extra identical heads)

One of the pictures on their website (the one that shows the magnet holes) shows the older, more necron-y head.

I too am saddened that the other gun didn't make the cut.

Its interesting to hear that their retail stuff has been less than desirable. I did the review on their Mankind Rippers, as well as the Barghest Fiends here: http://smellslikewargaming.blogspot.com/2014/01/13014-review-puppets-war-barghest.html

Most of the stuff I was sent (It's a promotional thing that TastyTaste over at Blood of Kittens has put together with commission artists and 3rd Party distributors) was top notch, with little to no airbubbles, miscasts, etc. There are a couple of models that won't be getting great reviews from me that they sent me, though. Lots of flashing and some bad warping on one piece, unfortunately. I love their stuff though, and was glad when I was given them as the 3rd party distributors, but its a shame it sounds like they're having problems with their quality.

The stuff in this link is what I paid for and waited close to 45 days for them to send out (when they were promising a 5-7 day processing time) It's a far cry from the beautiful, carefully-picked promo pieces sent out.

The experience of another poster starts on page 7 of the previous thread. My own "sharing" starts a bit later:
http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/180/503188.page

This is pretty much why they stopped posting here, in my opinion - rather than engaging further with their customers and fixing their quality, which is a shame.

Their designs are fantastic, but they are not trustworthy, and the quality of what they send to customers is a dice roll at best. I'd love to spend hundreds more with them, but sadly, I do not trust them. Look at Maxmini, Kromlech, Anvil, Secret Weapon to see the kind of quality that's possible to produce on a consistent basis.

I had an order with Puppets War in january. Their website said they'd dispatch within 12 working days (cast to order presumably) and on the 16th day after ordering (including 2 weekends there) I got an email saying my package was dispatched and it arrived in my mailbox 4 days later.

So many games, so little time.

So many models, even less time.

Screw it, Netflix and chill.

Yeah, there's a bunch of stuff I'd like to order, but I don't trust what I'm going to receive.
Might still send out a small test purchase.

Were the striker infantry guys decent cast quality Azazelx?

The infantry guys I got as part of their apology were quite decent. No real issues with them. Given that they were part of an apology/replacement order, I'd bear that in mind when it comes to the casting quality if you were to buy from them, and refer you to check out recent reviews of their stuff that people have received (not promo stuff, though). I'd be interested in seeing some more myself, since seeing the garbage casts they shipped to Turgon868 above doesn't exactly fill me with confidence.

I still haven't done anything at all with the PW stuff I got (originals or replacements) since whenever I look at them I get angry again. (a 3 week turnaround order turning into three months of bs and stress wasn't a good experience). I'll get around to it eventually, but I'm working on other projects for now.

Looks like we have some new troopers released.

Desert Troopers

Blitz Troopers (these I especially like!)

Looks like the same bodies with two different head options? Both look good, though I prefer the desert troopers myself. I should dig out and finish my Tallarn models...

Huge cannon incoming!

It seems PW have finally gotten round to building not one but two chassis for their Big Momma cannon. Both wheeled and tracked which is very nice indeed. Where they store the ammo in those vehicles is beyond me but I still think they look pretty cool.

http://www.puppetswar.com/product.php?id_product=291

Pretty sure this one should have been designed to have the treads go the other way but looking at the components it should be a fairly easy fix.

http://www.puppetswar.com/product.php?id_product=292

Looking at the prices I have to say that they seem extremely decent, $40 is about the same price as a bog-standard Rhino for something that looks to be Landraider/Macharius sized, awesome.

I also spotted this while creeping their FB page. Has it been posted already?

The Big Momma cannon fits on a Rhino chasis. So they are not that big.

Huh, I was basing my guess around your conversion actually. I was convinced you fitted that thing to a LR! I stand corrected.

EDIT: I also prefer the Rhino as a chassis for the cannon compared to the two PW ones, I guess that's what it was originally designed for...

Well I chopped the whole thing up to make my Ares. The cannon looks much better on the bigger LR chassis in my opinion but takes quite a lot of work to achieve.

I do was well actually. But, if you look, I think the Ursus Tractor would make a cool ammo resupply vehicle for the BMC.

Uh, if you're talking about the big guys above you may want to know that they are terminator size. GW termies in the States are also $50 iirc, so that price kinda makes sense...

Edit: Never mind, they come in a set of 5, I have no idea what you are referring to!

Any chance for IG sized shoulder pads? Like the Cadian pads? Having IG sized pads would help me purchase arms so I could have a more visual tie in to my rather oversized Cadian force.

That Warbus is awesome. Out of my price range... but awesome.
I wonder if they're going to make sitting Orks for the back of the truck-bed version. LOL

I'd only play it as the bus, though... because everyone knows that Orks are the window-lickers of the "sci-fi" universe!
