Sounds like good news for Dwarf players and Wood Elf players. I'm not surprised that WE are getting ASF, seeing how the darkies got it too. That's going to happen regardless of this rumor being right or wrong though. I also expect Ward's name on the cover of the WE book, as his is on the HE and DE book too. These are theories based on the past two elf books, not actual knowledge.

I call BS on the Warrior/CB/Thunderer and Longbeard/Ranger boxes. Why? They already have two boxes that make all of these units. I could see a "squadron" of gyrocopters. Altar getting a new kit w/a combo makes sense. I could see a "heavy infantry" box that combines the Ironbreakers and Hammers. And maybe one other "new" unit box. Either way sounds good. I'm a little sad though that they might be getting their book right before 9th but Necrons and GK are doing fine for 40k so I guess there is hope.

There was a time that someone would have called BS on a new Dark Elf Warrior kit.

No, they added swordsmen. I can understand that one. The new boxes wouldn't add any new unit type.

Not to mention that that box was about a decade older than the current dwarf box.

The box might have been a decade older but there was no updated High Elf Spearmen, Archer, or Silver Helm Knight boxes. The point that I'm making is that people would not have believed such a thing.

With the overwhelming plastic release that we're seeing with Dark Elves(a Black Guard/Executioner kit, Dark Rider/Warlock kit, the Warrior box, Witch Elves/Sisters of Slaughter box, the replaced Hydra), it's not incredibly far fetched to see the Dwarfs getting new troop kits.

Okay, updated first post and highlighted spots we have changed.

Cantor of trees will be a treesinger, and I'm guessing where it says f4 it means Strength 4. Plus it sounds very much like Wild riders of Kurnous with get the option to ride stags.

Why not just switch to the Spanish GW website and check? Matadores are indeed trollslayers.

Hope the Dwarf rumours are true never played fantasy but I'd love to start. The rumours also seem pretty plausible to me, they seem to be trend GW's going with recently.

Please, for the love of Valaya, leave the Grungi alone until 9th edition, so the Runes won't be ruined by the current approsch to magic items...

Sorry Brettonia is one of those armies which would make a TON of money because people love knights.. if they had decent models and halfway decent rules. So no, there will be no brettonia because the model queue is filled with horrible units no one needs or wants.

Brets can go with other things that would have made money if they released them on time, such as drop pods, thunderwolf cav, lots of nid units, riflemen dreads (non-fw), eldar jetbikes and I'm sure many others.. instead you get amazing design decisions such as mutilators, demon chariots, raptors, forsaken, warp smiths.. wow lots of chaos stuff, its as if they totally botched the WFB and 40k chaos releases!

almost forgot pyrovores, those were released instead of useful things too.

I sure hope they continue to use the current plastic wood elf glade guard and glade riders... have quite a few of those.... I'd be okay with new dryads though
