Title says it all really... This is a feature that I miss the most on Dakka, it's usually apparent on other forums. Is there any particular reason as to why we cannot specifically search a thread for key words?

Go to google:

Put the name of the thread in quotes and add site:dakkadakka.com to the search, that should do it.

The search feature has never been super robust here and it's just easier to use google than sweat it.
