As much as I love it, I still really despise you for being so bloody far away from Australia :-(
all of your products and I mean ALL of them are simply amazing and so full of brilliant ideas it just pains me so much I can't really get them *sigh* keep it up I still enjoy seeing what you do! :-)

This is pretty neat! Have you considered adding the device that toy trains used to use to create smoke for your smoke stacks? I think it was just a small heating element and a few drops of machine oil (back in the day, sewing machine oil or similar).

thank you, I had thought of this before there are also the pond misting ones that use water. My concern with using them has been MDF loves to suck up moisture. It really needs a test, the wood at least would need a varnish

good idea thank you, i have acted on itt

Thanks for your kind words. I am sorry about the shipping rates, they really are a pain and it’s something i am powerless to fix which is really annoying as it prevents people such as yourself from enjoying my buildings
You could bypass the need for a varnish on the wood (for the smokestack idea) by including a length of metal tubing (or styrene if there's no real heat that would cause problems). Just more food for thought.
Love the idea of the kickstarter, I can't believe nobody's done it before! especially the motorised parts.
Are all of the LEDs going to be solid or will some have different effects? (Pulsing lights for the Reactor stacks would be awesome, as would flickering ones for the blasted power station or mineral crusher)
Also are the LED colours going to be fixed to what they are in the sample pictures or can we pick?

good idea thanks, i will look into pricing and availability of these kind of devices

They are some good ideas thank you. Currently there are only red, white, blue and green. I will have to have a look around to see if pulsing / flashing lights are available in the correct layout

In depth look at the promethea pump
One of the three buildings to feature powered movement. The building features dual oscillating arms run from a single motor. The arms are supported on pivots in the centre and strongly anchored into metal ball bearings.
The rest of the working parts are made from plastic to ensure longevity and reliability.
The design allows easy access to the motor, moving parts and battery case.
The entire pump has various detailed sections to it and is housed in a fenced complex.
This building measures 400 x 194 x 162mm.
The building was a particularly fun one to design and was one of my first ideas for this project. The arms are powered by a single motor with dual outputs and 2AA batteries.
The arms can be set at opposites or sync depending on how you build it.
The base is fairly large allowing smaller models to get between the fence and the actual building
so head over to here to get the full picture and story
Re expensive over-seas shipping - isn't there some sort of way of licencing your designs to a company based in another country? You could share files & sell each others designs....
Check out my gallery here Also I've started taking photos to use as reference for weathering which can be found here. Please send me your photos so they can be found all in one place!!

the problem with this is most my buildings are not on sprues or only have the small parts them, which is a huge problem for other companies.

No problem, I love your stuff. This may be only a personal want, but you could float the idea and see, but multi story buildings? Like a huge radio tower? Balconies with room for a few models and a small radar dish on top?

Just a thought is all.
thanks, sound like a good idea any more details?
PomWallaby wrote: I like the idea of the choice of lighting. Some of the designs suit other colours IMO. Not sure how much hassle this would be to allow.
There is a choice or red green blue and white. I have tried yellow pink and purple but all were to faint. Still trying to find an alternative purple one to use
Wargamemodelmods supported one of our Bolt Action tournaments a couple of years ago with some bunkers as prize support, they were cracking models, simple to put together and painted up really well. Could not endorse any higher.
shared on club forum and word spread.
oh, and regarding the "one of each object" pledge level, would it be possible to get 3 of the same?

How did I only just spot this? A great idea seemingly well executed, definitely backing based on the quality of the one scenery piece I purchased from you last year. I reckon this stuff will be absolutely perfect for the likes of Maelstroms Edge or Tomorrows War.

thank you very much for the recommendation. Regarding the object pack, it would be no problem doing three the same, if you pledge make sure when i contact you for your address and colour choice you let me know which ones you would like

Im not familiar with kickstarter, so I hope some one of you guys could help me understand.
Im interested in 4 buildings below £20 so far. Can I pledge 60 and use that for 2x"any two buildings up to £20 each"?

Just the picture in my head would be a tower, at least 3 stories, not sure how modular you could make it for add-ons to go higher? And then a small radar/satellite dish on top. Each level could have a small platform around it, so models on 25mm bases could fit. Possibly based on the towers of your hydrocarbon plant, or even use the pringles can concept from your silos? And maybe an option for a walkway to be added on? So if someone wanted to buy two towers they could connect them, using the walkway from either your Defense Line or The skypad tower set
This is a really good idea, nice one.
I will point some people in your direction, and I hope you do well, I think you will have a decent size market for this sort of thing.

Stretch goal 11 has been completed and added.
It is a detail pack. This pack includes 6 walls, 2 cut to length ladders and numerous detailed panels. This pack will be free for anyone who has pledged £15 or more. Extra sets can be purchased for £5 each. The power station shows a bunch of them in place. This sprue will add some more character to your buildings.

This large building has a large walled barricade and features a central array of generators.
All the generators are lit from below and light up the Perspex strips with a bright glow.
The building measures 390 x 150 x 180 mm.
