This needs to be a polled question!!!

But i definitely use Tear-a-nids

And with Term n Horms i pronounce them both with g-aunt as apposed to g-ant, because saying termagant with the ant sound just sounds funky to me and sounds even weirder when I say it myself.

Tyranids will consume the universe!!! There is no chance for survival!!
.........eventually anyways.........

Cool, but a tyranny is ruled by a tyrant.

I say both, depending on what the other person I'm playing says. It's a bit like "cass-ul" vs "cars-ul" or "ba-th" vs "bar-th" for me; I pick up on whichever is used as I hear them both frequently. I generally go with tih-ra-nids" though, as it flows slightly better than "tie-ra-nids" to me.

tier-a-nids. That's how it is in DoW I believe, and the planet is Tyran. Which I say as Tyrant, minus the t. Yes, its a different y usage, but hey, so is Tyrant and Tyranny.

Yep, that's how they essentially how they (the Space Marines) pronounce it in DoW II.

back when I was starting out in 40k I used to say Tie-ranids, but every seems to say tear-anids, so I just went onto saying it that way.

I also used to say Tau as Tore, as opposed to Tow (ow as in like ouch/ow)

I say it like this too. It helps remove the confusion.

No.

Tyran, not Tyrant.

I have a peanut allergy. It's really inconsiderate.

I agree with the tear-ah-nid.

The one that gets me funny looks is tzeentch. My gaming groups started out as 3 guys out in BFE with no ties to anything official so we came up with our own. I know it is "improper" but I don't care, let people give me funny looks, its how I learned it so how I'm gonna keep saying it.... tzeen-tick.
