Fluff portion of the book read pretty awkward... really made me hate these guys a lot. So basically they were the biggest Space Marine dirt bags until about 400 years ago.
Overall the items are pretty cool but the supplement really only helps your warlord to become a monster.

Imagine this w/IH Supplement
- Chapter Master w/Bike, AA, Gorgon Chain, BB & BP (for AP2 @ Int) for 6 Attacks or TH (Str 8 @ Int 1) for tank hunting, & Digital Weapons.
- Command Squad w/Apoth & whatever you want their roll to be.
You happen to roll the FNP Warlord trait!
Ally w/Dark Angels
- Interrogator-Chaplain w/Bike, Mace of Redemption, & PFG
- You have a Chapter Master with a 2+/3++/3+ FNP, T5, IWND, 4W, & EW.
- The Beatstick Chappy has 3+/4++/3+ FNP, T5, 3W, and buffs you in CC.
- The Command Squad as a 3+ FNP due to the Apoth and 4++ due to the PFG.
Overall, you get two Beatsticks HQs and a decent Command Squad all for around what 600-700pts (Don’t have either Codex on me). I think I did my stacking correct…let me know if I didn’t. Thanks,

I still wish they would update planetstrike and City to 6th already. Sentinels, Raukaan and Black Legion have some good stuff for that.

Yes, they used to be the biggest douchebags in the galaxy until they realized that acting like that only made them weaker rather than stronger. That was really the only part about the supplement's fluff that I liked.
I hate it how they turned the Iron Hands into an almost completely codex compliant chapter. The autonomous clans were really the best part about the Iron Hands IMO.
I will be cheerfully pretending that they are still organised in autonomous clans.

Thanks for the info on this, guys, it's really helpful. Really helpful in that it doesn't sound like there's enough content to justify the purchase... but it's still nice to know generally what it contained. Mostly just warlord traits and relics seems to be a bit too little to justify a supplement, imo...

That's a tight spot. Normally, you cannot ally with the same Chapter Tactics... and Raukaan uses the same CT of normal Iron Hands. The same situation happens with Sentinels of Terra and IF detachments, as they both have CT (IF).

I was really hoping for TDA sergeants, perhaps at the cost of normal TDA squads.
example, IH sergeants not on a bike or jump pack may replace all weapons for TDA SB+ SW for 25 pts
IH Tac Terminator and Assault Terminator squads take up 2 elite slots.

Worth a shot. I know it's completely legal to take a CM from white scars and give him the shield.

Not 100% sure but I think you have to suffer a wound to get feel-no-pain therefor losing the original 1+
Meaning it's still a 3+ unless shot by multiple(but then you will only have 1/2 wounds left)

if not, you take a wound, then IWND you get your wound back

Well.. I'm just happy about the new rules and use them with the old fluff instead. It suits me better. We don't have to adopt new fluff when there is old fluff too. It doesn't overwrite it automatically fortunatelly. Its up to each and every one of us what we feel harmonizes fluffwize. (IMHO).
