A) Not everyone wants to read a post/s full of swear words.
B) As Corpes said, DakkaDakka is a family friendly forum. It'd be nice to keep it that way.
C) As Wyrmalla said, plenty of relevant stand in words.

And probably the most important reason, D) Yak and Lego wish it so. That should be reason enough.
