@jaydeeOT, nice work on those grogan, I was wondering how to set apart two of the same miniatures. Yours indeed look like identical twins without looking like the same miniature.

@triple9, I love the light grey and white scheme on that enforcer.

Started on my enforcers. Sorry, looks like a lot of jpg artifacts on the enforcer. Wanted to go with a cold color scheme, so black wash over the restic and then block painted from Army Painter Uniform Grey back to Army Painter Ash Grey. Paint up nice and fast.

That's a nice lookin enforcer there

Hey Triple9 I like the white/grey enforcer scheme, it makes the red really stand out and look a bit more hi-tech and menacing, It kind of reminds me of robo-cop and its a paint job I'll seriously consider for mine when I get round to painting them.

Alternatively I was thinking, enforcers.... law enforcers how about a judge dredd inspired paint scheme from the old 2000Ad comics, blue, black, red, green belts and gold trim?

Judge Dredd scheme sounds awesome

I'm still one sniper short of a strike team, but here's what my first five enforcers look like:

I'm happy enough with the color scheme and quality for now, once the sniper is done I'll be able to move on from this team and start another, coming back to expand each at whim once I've got a 70pt strike team for each faction. I do want to tinker with the eyes, I painted them all yellow before the thought occurred to me that it's the same color as their shoulders... I think I'll look into changing it to green, or possibly even blue in the future. The defender still has the blue from the initial shoulder pad test, will fix it in time, for now it denotes some kind of something

Soon I'll bust out the airbrush and get some of my buildings painted, promise, then we'll have some nicer pictures from the better backdrop.

I really should get some better lighting. That remote flash was rather aggressive on the white highlights. The bone shading leading up to them is completely bleached out.

Found some old Void skull swarms at the bottom of my mini's pile I've had for years. Think I may press them into service as plague swarms.

Excellent group shot, nice stuff I'm playing major catch up but just wait, I'll have one of those eventually too

Yes I agree, awesome looking group shot, I must admit im not a big fan of the plague swarm model, think you could post a few pics of the void skull swarm? I really want to see if I can find a supplier who still stocks the necromunda wyrd beastmaster figures, there were some awesome looking creatures that would look good in a plague force.

I dunno, I rather like the 'orrible gribbly rat/worm swarms.

The plague swarm is ok but which would you prefer the single swarm of different creatures or these....

I know what the beasties are in the bottom pic. Never seen the worm beasties in the top pic before though.

They were from the Urban War range, not Void and they look like this if you paint them badly.

But hey, they were free (I vaguely remember getting given the blister when I bought something else as they were trying to clear out stock of stuff for games nobody was playing).

Those don't look too bad tbh. Interesting idea for plague swarm those lil beasties.

The 5 Warpath enforcers are done. I really like how they came together as group. Just some touchups and probably pop the heavy gunners head off and raise it up a bit. Not sure I'm digging the Stanley Kubrick head down, eyes up stare from him. Hopefully have everyone else finished up by the end of the weekend. The lines on the new sculpts are much cleaner, so block painting should go faster. Haven't played DZ yet, but will try a 50 point game tonight or tomorrow.

Triple 9, what basing material did you use? It looks perfect for Deadzone, and I need to get some.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Washed sandbox sand from home depot. It's mostly fine sand with some tiny pebbles thrown in for good measure. Just lifted some from my daughters sandbox.

I like the ones looking upwards. Makes it look like they are on patrol through a ruined city and watching all the surrounding buildings. Very apt for deadzone.

Thanks, that's exactly what I had in mind when I put them together. Wanted to give them a little personality in their poses.

Loving this thread. There's some good stuff to 'draw inspiration' (re; steal ideas) from. Here's my humble contribution.

Cheers mate. That's a Matrioshka/Babushka walker from DUST Warfare. Great models, especially for the price, and pretty damn imposing on the field.

Just noticed your boomstick conversion, very nice. That's an economical solution for anyone with guardsmen, or access to eBay... its probably littered with GLs. Looks good.

The swarms are creepishly thematic too... kinda look like the virus got to the head but couldn't turn the whole body so it mutated some legs and walked off or something... pretty cool.

Great idea larva consider it stolen? If grim dork hadn't pointed it out I would have missed it completely.
