The Marauder Warlord. This is the most expensive single non-vehicle model I've ever bought, at $12.00 (USA) It's metal, big and heavy.

Nice Marauder Captain, BloodDave!!

Punisher Cap is now up, and Bucky Cap is at the bottom of page 21. Punisher's base isn't done, and his shield isn't finished either, but you can't tell from these images. When somebody finally sends me one more Scout Shotgun, I'll do up a US Agent mini as well, and the Defender squad will be finished.

Ha sweet. I'll look at my bits box but I never had very many scouts.

I wonder if I'd have anyone give me issue for using the Punisher Cap-Defender in a game of Deadzone, seeing how the shield is on his back. It actually slots right on perfectly. Once I have US Agent done though, I won't have any more defenders to occupy my time. Back to the grind of everyone else. Oh well, I still have my X-Men rebels.

-thanks for looking for me, GD!

-second edit: I'll post a picture of the full Defender squad once US Agent is done.

As long as you make it clear they are defenders I don't think anyone will mind. I know I would be happy to play against fun conversions like this.

Yeah just declare the facing. Given the shield interacts with facing alone and not LoS, only asshats would brother you about it if you explain before game.

Grim, if you're able to find that Scout Shotgun, just gimme a PM. I have the model built except for the gun, so I can have him without the gun for now. I'll be painting him tomorrow morning before I leave for Easter with the family. I'll post a picture of the handless wonder in the morning, but it's too dark to prime outside, plus it's a bit on the late side too.

Love this model. If I played 40K Orks I would totally have this as my Warboss. Nice paintjob too mate

Defender squad is done! US Agent is missing his shotty, but with a strategic angle, the squad looks nice. Definitely feel like pictures don't do the same justice as the actual models, but I'm still happy. Enjoy guys, and Happy Easter. Going to dinner with my sister, so this is my only picture for the day.

Thanks you guys. Unfortunately, I just discovered it is too big to fit in my storage box. I'm going to have to use a different box. Oh well. It seems I've let myself get talked into playing Warpath, as well, so I think I'll get a new box for all my Deadzone / Warpath mins.

How tall is that model by the way? I have one coming for my Kickstarter part 2 survey.

26 MAR - Using Mantic's online system, I submitted a ticket about a missing Sorak from Rebs starter

20 APR - Baggie with Sorak and Yndij trooper (because they come in a baggie together) arrived in our mailbox in Maryland, US.

Thanks, Mantic!

I'm at work, and the model is ay home, so I can't measure it, but here's a pic that might help:

Hey, some really nice things popping up, loving them all =D

Finally got round to finishing the Judwan Medic over the weekend, I only really painted him for the challenge since I doubt I will be using him much in a game.

Just wanted to add this last pic with the following line "God damnit Captain!! I'm a doctor not a mobile phone technician!!"

Finished US Agent. Turns out I had one more player who went a little crazy when he wasn't invited to the party. I don't want him to bring back the green and purple, so I guess I'll have to give him a shine in red white and blue. Well, red silver and blue, more accurately.

Cheers guys, really enjoyed painting the Judwan, its a shame they are non combatants though

hey Timetowaste85 good to see more marvel inspired colour schemes and characters, I'm not 100% sure who you were referring to in the last post though?

Oh and I've managed to get a bit more done on my Deadzone board, hopefully I'll get round to doing some buildings soon but in the meantime no matter who your playing, Rebs, Enforcers, Marauders or Plague... Keep fighting for those forgotten places and the secrets they hide.

Going from green and purple to red white and blue wasn't a workable hint? Hmmm...if he didnt get invited, he'd go back to throwing blondes off bridges. Does that work? And yes, he's a hugely major marvel character.

Meh nerd street cared will take a blow but I'm still clueless personally. I'm really interested in marvel and, hell, even DC, but comics just aren't a medium I can get into. For whatever reason, so I must live vicariously through hardier nerds with more nerd versatility then me. I do look forward to seeing whatever it is that we are talking about

Guy who dressed in green and purple and threw blondes off bridges, and eventually donned a star spangled costume? Man..thats...that's like a dead giveaway. He's also rich. Has his own company. If I give any more than that, I'll be up to his name.

Wait, what? When did that happen?

Now showing skeletons for Mantic's Dungeon Saga!

Painting total as of 12 July 2025: 88 plus a Deva King statue

Painting total as of 12/31/2024: 107 plus a set of modular spaceship terrain and two walkers and a quad mech and five giants

I'm with you, man. Can't get into comics. I read a crapload of books, though. sci-fi, fantasy, horror. The new Deadzone Containment Protocol short story collection is OK. Good fluff, OK writing.

hey blooddave if you have the containment protocol stories does that mean you have already received your second survey package or did you buy it separately?

Best go back and wiki the outcome of Secret Invasion then. It explains the temporary new leader of SHIELD, the Avengers, and the Brillo-hair league for men.
