Sniper done, bit of a rushed job but most of it turned out nice.

Since I'm a bit of a fan of this figure I thought I might add a little background regarding snipers in the SPEC.T.E.R squad.

Marksmen who have been selected for recruitment into SPEC.T.E.R are exclusively hand picked from the enforcers after completion of particularly hazardous missions or survived impossible odds. Before returning to the rest of his/her assigned squad the selected enforcer is sent a private message on an encoded channel, the message consists of 4 words with two simple commands: LEAVE NOW. INFORM NOBODY.

The test begins, the selected candidate follows the order making sure to leave no traces behind, they follow a set of commands which are sent at specific intervals which lead them across the galaxy while their squad assumes they have been killed in action thus severing all ties.
If the candidate can make it to the assigned rendezvous without revealing to anybody their true status they pass the loyalty test at which point they are initiated into SPEC.T.E.R for further training.

At the end of the harsh training the new recruit is assigned the new call sign of Wraith and awarded specialized exclusive gear for future missions; the Wraith shroud and the Reaper rifle.

The Wraith shroud is an active camouflage cloak. By changing set inputs the cloak itself can assume thousands of pre-set patterns and textures in order to adapt to an ever changing battlefield.

The Reaper rifle is made of the same lightweight materials as all SPEC.T.E.R weaponry which makes it easy to change positions fast without being hindered by the rifles size but apart from its light construction it also incorporates a special feature, housed within the laser sights there is a complex scanner capable of processing both organic and synthetic material, the rifle uses this information to cross reference corporation databases to provide identification, medical history, schematic files, etc... and relay the information back to the rifle scope, the Wraith can then identify people of interest, sensitive areas and possible weak points that can be exploited for an easy kill.

Despite being incredibly useful tools on the battlefield the production of both the shroud and rifle are incredibly time consuming and costly making them impractical for general use for all enforcers and are generally reserved for SPEC.T.E.R infantry to aid in their primary mission, the location and execution of the rouge Judwan assassin Wrath.

Awesome work, the digital camo is great!

Yeah, I really like the camo and your enforcer scheme in general. Probably part of why I'm painting my own enforcers white going forward.

Cheers, to be honest the cloak is about the best bit on this model, I should have taken a bit more time to get a smoother finish on the rest of the armour and rifle but what's done is done.

Hey GD, glad you like the white scheme, its not the easiest colour to work with but it really stands out when its done, I like your plague colour and skin tone, what colours did you use on the flesh? At some point im going to have to start on all the zombie miniatures and that skin tone looks just about right.

I used Minitaire Rotted Flesh over white. Usually just one coat or possibly two in some spots. Then I dipped with tudor minwax, I suspect that army painter dark tone would be 'close'.

Hey All.

I'm trying to paint up my Enforcer Engineer but struggling with some of the details around the head, could any of you post up some pictures of your finished model so i could take a look and see how you've painted yours?

It likely won't help you, but I'm still working on my Engineers. One will have a Tony Stark bare head, the other will have an actual Enforcer head, but painted Red and Yellow. I'll try to get the Red and Yellow one done soon.*

*Red and Yellow in caps as I'm making it a proper name for Iron Man's armor. So suck it, any fellow English grammar Nazis.

I finally got around to painting up some hard plastic Enforcers. They don't really fit in either of my painting blogs, so I'll put them up here.

Can you spot the one restic Enforcer?

A generic power glove sergeant.

A slightly more dynamic sergeant with a wrist blade. I gave up on OSL for these, and switched to a heated-metal effect. Does it work?

This guy has the heavy flamer thing.

This was my first proof-of-concept guy, and thus a little boring.

When assembling these guys, I matched the legs to the torsos (i.e. Right Leg A, Left Leg A and Torso A). Most of them worked well enough, but R/L leg D match up terribly with torso D. My solution was to put him in mid-jump:

I have 7 or 8 more sprues of these guys to play with, so the next batch should be more interesting to look at. All in all, a worthy investment I think.

Now showing mutants and dungeon-crawl heroes!

Painting total as of 3 July 2025: 79 plus a Deva King statue

Painting total as of 12/31/2024: 107 plus a set of modular spaceship terrain and two walkers and a quad mech and five giants

Restic guy is back row, on the right (when facing them). Can tell by the bulkier legs (which I kind of miss, honestly).

Damn autocorrect

It took me a while but I've finally got the Engineer and a gun turret finished.

Within the SPEC.T.E.R division the Engineers are known as Poltergeists or Geists for short, they earn this nickname for their ability to open and close doors and control mechanical objects long distances away with their superior hacking experience via neural to computer interfaces and are usually included in most excursions to a deadzone in order to clear path's and maintain communication systems during the campaign.

Geists usually pack a pair of automated turrets for additional defence, these turrets are the Banshee mark VII. The Banshees earn their name from the high pitched wail as the turret prepares to unleash a hail of high velocity anti-personal rounds into any unlucky target which may wander in front of the turrets scanner.

PK Captain done.

The scheme works well enough, a few tweaks and I'll use it on the rest of the PK squads.

I think I saw this guy on facebook already, I really like the black.. very dark but with enough highlights so you don't get bored. The white and blue are nice additions to keep it interesting too.

Got my first guy done. Going to use him as my stand in Sergeant until the proper model arrives in the mail.

For the proper Sergeant and the rest of the team I will do some highlighting on the armor.

nice stuff but with such a dark colour scheme it could really benefit from some highlights on some of the black armour and a few touches of paint around the eyes. The black, grey and red do work together quite nicely though, looking forward to seeing the rest of your squad =)

First time painting, I'm not very good at it and painting the Brokkr Chief (who is very small!) was a bit of a challenge but I'm fairly happy with the results.
Doesn't show the colours very well in this photo, guess I should have put him under a lamp before taking the photo.

Love the Rebels Slinky! Great colours on the guy with the two pistols, I don't recognise the model though? Which unit is it?
