Men have more ability to pack on that kind of weight, but yeah, she'll certainly tone up, etc. Again, I think she'll end up looking like an realistic athletic female instead of a comic-booky bodybuilder with an enhanced rack.
It sure doesn't seem like much of a MoS sequel now. But it's unclear how much Diana will be in the film. If I had to guess, I'd say she'll have a smallish part compared to Bruce and especially Clark, but get a few scene-stealing moments maybe near the end. This film probably isn't the actual team-up so much as the film that establishes the primary good guys and the bad guys (headed/funded by Lex Luthor?) and sets things so the JL film can be off and running. Something like the team equivalent of the playing card/"I'll look into it" scene on the rooftop at the end of Batman Begins.
I still say that Affleck may end up directing JL. The MoS franchise is Snyder's baby, but personally I don't think they brought Affleck on board ONLY to act and not direct or provide genuine input into the whole enterprise.
Edit: Cranston shot down the rumors about him getting the Luthor role. But Snyder has made comments that suggest that Lex is the bad guy for this one. And again, I think the film may establish Lex as the big cheese on the villain side for whatever comes later.

Sure, which is why this is preliminary complaining, and can easily change. What you can't bulk up on is gravitas; it isn't just the size, it is the attitude and the ability to project that one is powerful. We haven't seen the audition obliviously, but I'm skeptical, though willing to remain open minded.

He did? Oh well my mistake. Perhaps people just made the connection because he was bald in Breaking Bad.
It wouldn’t necessarily be a bad thing in Affleck directed a JLA film. People take the mick out of his acting but he's proved he has plenty of talent as a director. I've not seen his debut but I really like The Town and Argo.

I would like to second Natahn Fillion reprising his role as Steve Trevor. I don't liken him to the role of Hal Jordan when doing cartoon voice overs, he and ST feel like a match made in heaven.

Affleck's decision to join the enterprise actually gives me hope. Because there's a guy who obviously learned the hard way how to choose good material. He has plenty of great scripts getting thrown his way right now...so for him to commit to multiple films, etc. means he likes the material...and maybe is even helping shape it.
Here are some good points about WW from EW. I think #13 kinda says what I'm thinking. WB obviously wants an Avengers franchise of their own, but they're obviously doing it differently and making some interesting choices. And I think I really like that. As entertaining as the Marvel movies are, they're mostly just brain candy, which is interesting considering the Marvel books have historically been thought of as being "more mature" in their tone and storylines.
12. Zack Snyder directed the weirdly fratty Watchmen, which badly didn’t do justice to a great lead female character. He also made Sucker Punch, which was Sucker Punch. But close to a decade ago, he made Dawn of the Dead, which briefly turned Sarah Polley — the very good and thoughtful-eyed actress who is roughly 4 feet tall — into one of the horror genre’s best-ever action heroines.
13. We basically know what to expect from the Marvel movies at this point. Rigid professionalism. Witty banter. Assembly-line visual style. Unchallenging narratives. Cameos. But what the hell is this Man of Steel sequel, that has 40-something Oscar-winning Batman and man-candy emo Superman and heroin-chic B-movie-star Wonder Woman and football and rumored titles that all sound like early ’90s erotic thrillers? It sounds unlikely. That’s not a bad thing.

So she didn't die (in one of the stupidest death scenes ever written in one of the most ridiculous action scenes ever shot) in Fast 6... she just flew off to embrace her Amazon heritage.
It's actually nice to see Dianna getting some mainstream love. She's a pretty cool character, and really needs some form of exposure.
Better yet, if she's received well, it might help move WB and DC from banking almost exclusively on Batman.
As for Lex Luthor, I'd be all kinds of ecstatic if they managed to get Kevin Spacey to play him again. He was the one good part of Superman Returns (and let's face it, I just want more Spacey in my life).

Except the part that DC isn't happy that Aquaman has been a laughing stock for the past 20 years and they're working on making him a badass. Has anyone read the N52 version of him? They discuss him being a joke and he doesn't take it. There's a good change in him. What I don't accept is Cyborg being a full member. He's on the TT. Leave him there with Robin, Starfire and the others.

Not sure about all the other incarnations, but this time around in the New 52 of DC land she's a demigod (and now...a God!) and on par power-level-wise with Superman, more or less.
Probably a bit less, but still really, really powerful.

Powers and AbilitiesEdit
Powers
Divine Empowerment: Being a demigoddess, Diana has several superhuman powers
Superhuman Strength: She is said to be "stronger than Hercules". Wonder Woman is in the same class as Superman himself and able to physically over-match other beings such as Supergirl without too much effort.
Superhuman Durability: Diana possesses a high resistance to damage and magical attacks. Her resistance to injury is not quite as great as any of the above mentioned metahumans. However, due to her vast threshold for pain and her amazon ability to heal at a superhuman rate, this easily makes up for the difference. She has withstood considerable bludgeoning damage in the form of hand to hand combat with metahuman opponents such as Superman and Captain Marvel. She has considerable resistance to human weaponries, though this is not absolute; Bullets can cause minor to moderate injury, but never life threatening.
Flight: Wonder Woman is capable of self-propelled flight by gliding on air currents.
Superhuman Speed: She is able to think, react and move at superhuman speeds. According to Flash, she can easily keep up with him if he is at regular cruising speed (but not at top speed).
Superhuman Reflexes: Wonder Woman's reflexes are far beyond the limitations of the finest human athletes. She has been able to react to a barrage of gunfire from multiple opponents at once unharmed. Batman noted that her reflexes are superior to that of Superman.
Superhuman Agility: Wonder Woman's agility is far beyond that of even an olympic level athlete, as is her balance and coordination.
Superhuman Stamina: Wonder Woman can last a great deal of time in any fight and with virtually anyone. She has held her own in combat with foes as powerful as a Doomsday clone. She doesn't tire out, as her body produces no lactic acids in her muscles.
Enhanced Healing Factor: In the rare event of suffering a serious injury, Diana can heal from mild to moderate injuries at an amazing rate. Her normal regenerative abilities allow her to recover from injury within seconds to minutes. She possesses an incredible immunity from poisons, toxins, as well as disease.
Immortality: Wonder Woman is immune to natural death.
Abilities
Hand-to-Hand Combat (Advanced): Trained by Ares, the God of War, Diana is the finest warrior ever born among the Amazons of Themyscira. She is a master of armed and unarmed combat, proficient with nearly every weapon ever made (especially the bow and the javelin) and the exotic martial arts styles of the Amazons.
Enhanced Intellect: Diana possesses great wisdom and intelligence. She is among the smartest and wisest members of the Justice League, along with the Martian Manhunter and Batman.
ParaphernaliaEdit
Equipment
Lasso of Truth
Bracelets of Submission: Two magic bracelets that can deflect projectile attacks. Also, Wonder Woman can remove them to gain a significant power boost.

And of course everything has gone according to Batman's plan...

Thor VS Superman would be more fun
Although Cap America vs Superman would be the best scenario for either side. They'd just settle their differences with reason and call it a draw.
