I used the Nephilim to do it and the Bolt Cannon / Lascannons are super simple. The nose lascannons fit right into the missile pods on the wings.

Thx Peregrine, got some work done today on my own Nephilim "counts as" Avenger. I put the cannons where the heavy bolters would have gone on the regular model, just outside the "mega-bolter". A little shaving of the fuselage and they fit fine. Trying to figure out where to put some SoB icons on the wings. I have a few sets of the plastics form Immo's, just not sure where I want them yet.

Got the #3 Priestess done, if I don't have to spend the entirety of my free time tomorrow shoveling snow, I'll hopefully have time to primer all my recent assemblies and start on Priestess #4. Thoughts and comments appreciated, as always!

Well, after a year and a half work interruption I have finally made some progress working on my Sisters. I've been able to average about 30 minutes a week over that time. I've been painting the Sisters one color at a time, working up the base color and shading to where I can field them but will have to go back and do highlights to bring them in line with the look of my Priests and Living Saint. Currently have 9 vehicles that I'm doing much the same with, just been able to get through the base color and a bit of shading. No highlights as of yet. Feel that I need to start putting something up or I'll lose what little momentum I have going.

To start off, snapshot of the progress so far on one of my dominion squads. The entire army is currently at this stage.

Current state of all the Vehicles. Was able to poach Ebay to get enough Exorcist bits to make sure all my Rhino's had the front plate. Currently in the process of picking out the base color for the scroll work. The white area is pretty much where I want it, the red still needs several layers of highlights.

This is my first Seraphim squad before the grey base was painted on their robes. Currently operating without packs until the details are picked out providing escort for Celestine.

These models are currently involved in a power tool experiment to put a different look on the next Seraphim squad. Will most likely be blended in with the first to spread the look around. Converted some inferno pistol girls up. Might paint them up just to make sure I have the option to field them. Will be painting up some flamer seraphim for the second Seraphim squad as well

Possible newb Hereticus Inquisitor model I was tinkering with, libram and null rod I think? Would be used along with servo-skulls.

Thanks for humoring me on reviving the thread, hoping to be able to use it to keep the momentum going. If work ever lets off the pace we're on, might actually get this army done!

Didn't get time to paint today, but was able to dig into a conversion for a repentia mistress I've been thinking about. If I go ahead with using it I'll be needing another one, and might drill the head out to replace with a burning helm to bring in a bit of the redemptionist feel on the second one. Thoughts?

Well, despite work not really slowing down, working on the house to sell it, then finding and moving into another house. I have actually gotten a bit of work done in the last week or so. Repentia Mistress for the most part done, no basing as of yet.

Ordo Hereticus Inquisitor, no basing, still some work to do on the book, scroll work and such.

T+C welcome as always!

Awesome. Everything is looking great, especially the priests.

Out of interest where did you get the mauls for the priests?

Thanks. The power mauls are made from the top of the sororitas sister superior with maul

and the top end of the staff from the Sister Dialogus mated to the bottom end of it with the hand area removed.

There was some cable that had to be removed, then some pinning, but it came out alright in the end. The Dialogus models may get repurposed as Servitors, I just removed the staff arm at the end of the sleeve, not sure as of yet. I have a lot of sisters models, and have been able to clip and cut where needed to get the bits I wanted. The hands on the Priests are either from the chirurgeon model or from the Canoness 2.0 blister.

They turned out wonderfully! I think you'll need therapy after the checkerboard inquisitor.

Fantastic work on this force. I especially love the counts-as priests and Jacobus. That living saint is gorgeous. I very much look forward to seeing more of this army.

If you don't mind my asking what is the technique you are using to paint the silver armor? I'm doing silver armor on my SoB army and while I do like my result it's always nice to have extra tricks in your bag. Keep up the great work!

When the Immolator disappeared from the GW website I bought up several Exorcists to get some additional Rhino/Immolator kits. Which left me with a bit of Exorcist bits laying around. A quick trip to ebay for some cheap pre painted Rhino's, a few dozer blades I have had sitting around forever, and some cities of death bitz and I have the first of what will end up being six repressor conversions for my Sisters.

The flat top hatch will be getting the stormbolter while the cupola gets the pintle mounted heavy flamer. As much as I like the Exorcist armor plates, think I'll be off today to order some FW sororitas rhino doors to complete the look. I haven't gotten to using any of the Immolator bling to dress the kit up just yet, but they'll probably be getting some before they go into the painting stage.

Finally have a bit of time today, so there may be a few more updates coming shortly on different parts of the project. I find the church look of the vehicle to be just ridiculous enough to be exactly what a bunch of battle nuns would love to ride around in blowing stuff up. As always, thoughts and comments appreciated!

Finally got some time to get back to work on the Repressor project, the first three are ready for painting, fourth will be getting the last bit of FW icons and scrollwork added today. Hopefully all will be primed and ready to start painting this weekend. I got tired of looking at the odd dozer blade on the blue body repressor, so I ordered enough to match all of the them to the style on the red rhino body repressors. The plan is to paint each of the eventual six repressors for each of the major Orders. I couldn't really salvage the last two rhino bodies from ebay, so I'll be building the sacred and bloody rose repressors from brand new rhino's. Thoughts and comments appreciated.

Those are beautiful... can't wait to see them with a base coat to even out the detail. Your use of icons makes me want to dive back into the bitz box and see what's there!

First four are primed. Still waiting on the additional dozer blades to make them all a cohesive force.

Idea for the paint jobs is to have a cohesive "base" look to all the vehicles. I'm hoping to use the six different Orders robe/color schemes to differentiate them just enough so each represents one of the different original Orders. I'll be experimenting with it a bit, but I do intend to use some print outs of the Order banners to create murals on the chapel panels as well as adding some relic and candle bits along the topside of the rhino alongside chapel portion, still working on ideas for those but I'm hoping they will blend the top into the bottom as well as pushing them just a little bit further over the zealot threshold.

Thoughts and Comments appreciated!

Got a bit of work done this morning on the first of the repressors, just a bit of block work and edge highlighting so far. I want the hulls of the repressors to be mostly the same scheme, with the upper gothic portion being different for each of the Orders. Still debating between making the gothic bits metal or stone with the highlights done in each Orders colors. Any thoughts?

Man, those look even better than I'd imagined! Is that the Leadbelcher spray from GW or something else? Also curious about your dozer blades... are those 3rd party or from some Rhino variant tank? Great conversions!

Thanks, I am really enjoying how they are coming together. They just have a flat black spray for the base coat. The dozer blades are in the guard tank section on modelsandminis.com very reasonably priced sturdier than a lot of blades I have seen. Best looking ones IMO as well.
