You can take a CCS with a standard for 65 points vs the LC's 70. This way you get orders and rerollable morale for 5 pts cheaper

Stubborn can really help tarpit and not get overrun. So I like a commissar of sorts

Curious if you have found people to let you play this list. Everyone in my area gave both codex thumbs down.

7 drop pods
2 plus re roll able screamerstar

So Str D is not ridiculously overpowered when you play lists like theirs constantly lol

Not going off track but aside from escalation I dont see what the problem is with stronhold? As long as someone doesnt use the 2 buildings that has strength D what is the problem with that book?

I would also say the list looks pretty solid as you have most areas covered.

I would drop 1 lord commissar and get an inquisitor to prescience the shadow sword so its D cannon is more accurate.

Although to be honest if your opponent brings the eldar titan its most likely game over for you because basically 1 of its guns firing 2 D strength weapons will kill you shadow sword allowing the other weapon to start killing other stuff.

That titan is 900pts
I hope I get first shot at it with my str D
Or hope he rolls poorly

That titan is a beast. Without making this list crazy and putting a fortification with another Str D shot (at 500+ points) and sacrificing all my core troops to do so I will just cry against it.

I think the titans are a bad idea, it just promotes cheesy lists and FW models, 1500pts of eldar is a titan mantle seer and some DA in serpents, cheese, cheese, and yet more cheese.

Beware this list is dangerus to people with lactose intolerance.

Yea, the more I think about the eldar titan the more my mind hurts trying to make a Tac list to include an answer to it.

If you run those infantry to close to your shadow sword you better hope it doesn't blow up or it's explosion will kill all those guardsmen. I learned that I. My last apoc game the hard way.

Beware!!!! My friend just played an escalation game (like yesterday) and he used this same list (I wanted to see how it would do) he get murdered by a Thunder hawk gunship which was just gay (no offense to gays).

So squeeze as many vendettas in as you can to stop thunder hawks from killing you!!!!

Hrm. I'll have to keep this in mind. I haven't played one yet but with 2 quads and a lot of twin linked autocannons how did he fail so hard? It's only av12.

Hes a below average dice roller (sorry but its true), and the fact even with twin linked auto cannons its 6s to hit and 6s to pen.
