It looks fantastic! My only gripe is that it either needs more armor or less- the head crest looks awesome, but the piece on his stomach looks out of place to me. It looks as though it's not a seperate piece either.
that looks just like my mount in World of Warcraft.

Heresy. MORE DKOK.
I wouldn't expect anything though. The picture is just an old one from IA12, and there was nothing even hinted at during their open day recently. We might get updates to match the new codex, but it's probably just a "look, we make IG models too!" banner.
4th set of basic guardsmen (maybe relaxing, playing cards and eating meals?) and some more commissars.
The underworld war or thramas crusade as its also known is between the dark angels and the night lords, the war is practically a stalemate until a parlay is called between lion and curze, this ends with the wounding of both primarchs, lion then hears that a world he conquered is being fought over by the ironhands and the death guard, he takes a few of his lads to go deal with it, long story short he takes a piece of tech that is capable of transporting and entire fleet to the warp and back without the need for gellar fields or warp engines, it also calms the warp in its immediate vicinity, lion uses this tech to surprise attack the near entirety of the night lords fleet, breaking there back so it's said, he also cripples curze into a coma, the night Lords then split into splinter fleets to attacks where they please, this leads to unremebered empire.
Just going to correct you; the underworld war was what the fighting on calth was called post radiation. No one could really survive the surface so it all took place underground. The thramas crusade is just called the thramas crusade

The thramas crusade does have another name but for the life of me I can't remember it
Are you thinking Tsalgualsa? That's not another name for Thramas, that's the planet where the Lion and Cruze faced off at the end of Thramas.

Yes, but it's a somewhat fuzzy and hard to read picture. But, if you watch the preview video in high def, you can pause it when they show that page and read it very clearly.

Sigismund is death on legs to.say the least, ws7 a fair number of attacks at str6 ap2 and instant death in a challenge, he also makes Templar sqauds troops, these are also pretty nasty.
Wow, Forgeworld can still produce things that aren't Space Marine themed.
"By this point I'm convinced 100% that every single race in the 40k universe have somehow tapped into the ork ability to just have their tech work because they think it should."

Templars are indeed quite nasty, ws5 with vanguard stats, furious charge, power swords and artificier armour, squad leader has 2 wounds.. Ikky!
Also, Sigismund is a beast in CC, even worse in a challange where he really shines. With average dicerolls he will put a nice dent in even a primarch.
I have a little hobby-thread going in the P&M section. Some say it's the best blog on Dakka, some don't agree, most belive it would be better if I finished at least one project some time this century and not just kept starting new ones.
Check it out, you just might like it.
After Edgar allan poe's Raven quote from Corax, they've added a "For whom the bell tolls" one in the raven Guard special rite of war... Yay !
I couldn't find it , is Furious Assault a thing in HH or is it just a typo for Furious Charge?

Not in HH:3 at least. They did really good by the raven guard, really good.

Some people that have been posting on one of my threads have been talking about an update for IA:8. They speak of a second edition. I haven't found ANYTHING on it. Has anyone else?

This year’s calendar of events has really got into full swing over the last few weeks. Last weekend Forge World was in London at Salute 2014, the UK’s largest wargaming convention. The new Legion Falchion Super-heavy Tank Destroyer and the Dread Saurian quickly sold out, and our exclusive Event Only models, which you can see on the Events page, were extremely popular. The Horus Heresy Book 3: Extermination was also in high demand, as you can imagine.
The Forge World Sales stand stayed busy all day.
‘Busy’ probably doesn’t do the day justice – the Forge World Stand was three rows deep with eager hobbyists when I arrived. So, not wanting to get in the way, I took myself off for a coffee and checked out some of the great models and displays.
A fantastic display of Necrons, featuring the Tomb Citadel at Salute 2014.
If you couldn't get to Salute, there are plenty more events coming up which Forge World will be attending this year. Make sure you check the Events page to see where we’ll be.
Closer to home, I took a walk through Warhammer World this week to see some of the armies currently on display. James from the Warhammer World Hobby Centre has just finished his Raven Guard Legion army, which includes a Thunderhawk Gunship and a Relic Contemptor Dreadnought. Extremely good timing on his part as the Raven Guard are one of the four Legions featured in The Horus Heresy Book 3: Extermination.

That’s all from me for now. Make sure you check back soon for more from the Forge World Studio.
Chris.
