Oh man.... I'm hoping they'd at least have the helm option for vulkan, that would make that model perfect!!

Truth be told, I wish they had that option for every one of the character series.

The thing with vulkan, throughout the Fluff they always mention him and his drake helm, he is the Lord if fire and melting things, he should look it as well. The others tend to fight with their bare heads

Just my personal preferences and biases. I don't like minis in my armies that wear heavy armor and then neglect their heads...no room for stupid troops in my armies, much less foolish officers.

Not wearing helmets= quickest way to get promoted in the WH40K universe lol

Yeah, if the Iron Warriors and Alpha legion ones are anything to go by, it would probably put you off again!

The Mortarion model looks quite cool, was hoping for a bit more of a dynamic pose but i'll have a look at the model and see what I think then. The rest looks cool also ;-)

The Iron Warriors ones from FW look like the Marvel's Punisher Skull. I like them a lot. The Alpha Legion ones aren't bad either.

Re Mortarion - NEED but can wait until he's on general release rather than paying a whopping £110 from Ebay!
I like the scythe - remember that they were probably first used as weapons by farmers fighting off raiders. + this is awesome:

As someone who plays both Death Guard AND Salamanders, the Heresy is really starting to sink it's teeth into me.

Luckily I play DG & DA so I should have plenty of time to save for my 2nd army!
I have a small 40K DA force and am painting them black, the way they should be (inc the termies)!!

I may pick up some Word Bearers stuff (like the Gal Vorbak), some SW, some Salamanders, DA termies for Deathwing...bits and pieces to work into 40k armies as rare, relic units/armor/vehicles...

No, the only full 30k army that I'm going to go whole hog on is Thousand Sons...but I expect it'll be a pretty darn big army worth of 30k stuff...

Oh, I certainly vote with my dollar, but the problem is that that is not enough. The problem with the 'vote with your dollar' response is that it doesn't take into account why we're not buying the product. I want to enjoy 40k enough to buy back in. It was my introduction to traditional games, and there was a time when I enjoyed it very much. I want to buy 40k, but Gamesworkshop is doing their very best to push me away, and simply not buying their product won't tell them that.

For me, Gal Vorbak is the best of show, looks really good. Salamanders look nice, too. What's with the IG transport, though? A bit uninspired, IMO.

I guess I don't see the point of the Gal Vorbak stuff. For one, we have a Possessed kit already, and two... the name sounds like a guy, not a unit.

From Bolter & Chainsword:

1. Size. These are bulky units. (40mm?)
2. Cohesive in appearance with the rest of the range. This is not a Chaos Space Marine upgrade, this is a unit built off of quite obviously Mark IV.
