So, recently in my area, GW has had a temporary employee manning the shop while they hire a new guy, but the process is taking longer than usual. This guy has been great. He is very knowledgeable and I wanted to get him something for all the hard work he's done at the store, especially since he is supposed to be a temporary manager. He is building a BFG tyranid fleet out of 'Nid bitz, and I was wondering if a box of Gaunts would be a good gift or something like paint or tools. Suggestions? Note that I am on a roughly 40$ budget for this. Thanks in advance.

Well yes, Nid bitz, but naturally, I have no idea which boxes are used in BFG Nid ship creation, so if any of you guys know, I would be very appreciative.

Every GW store I've ever been to, the staff are always big on BFG and Epic and if you mention seeing some epic-scale Warhounds on Ebay their eyes light up.

So many games, so little time.
So many models, even less time.
Screw it, Netflix and chill. |

If you don't mind ordering off of bits sites, lots of warrior torsos and large scything talons make great bits for Tyranid cruisers.
The official Tyranid cruiser in BFG was obviously kitbashed from 2 large warrior talons, 2 torso backs, 2 warrior rifles (deathspitters? It's been so long I forget the jargon). and 1 long acid-cannon thingy. The official escorts were converted from fleshborers/spinefists, devourers, and lots and lots of warrior-sized scything talons. He could probably make a hive ship from extra back plates from the carnifex kit or other monstrous creatures.

Don't get him gw stuff.
He's probably sick to death of it and gets a great discount anyway.
Look at reaper's Goroloth and goroloth drones, they're ace for nid fleets and just cool models to paint.

I'd check that he's allowed to accept gifts from customers at all
The US may be different, but here it's frowned upon. Certainly in my working-with-the-public experience.

That's awesome! Maybe I can start a donation collection from some of the guys at the store. All great ideas and suggestions!
Monders has a good point though, does anybody know the US policy on gift giving to employees?
