Hi Folks

Can FMC leave 'combat airspace' during the shooting phase as a part of a run move (which is 2d6 right?).

Too be fair.. it's all worked out quite well!

I don't see why not

[EDIT] To clarify the only requirements are that it be Swooping and leave the board, no restriction on how or which phase. I suppose this could even mean you could use any ability that relocates him to put him off the board?

Absolutely. There is no restriction on which phases you're allowed to leave combat airspace.

Just remember that the Run must be straight forward if Swooping.

Okay so there are limitations.

Does that mean that a tyranid FMC can move > shoot > run, when buffed by onslaught? Granted angles will be tricky. Edit: For the purposes of leaving a board edge? I ask because it seems like a viable tactic but I haven't seen it used before.

Finally, with adrenals, could you re-roll those 2d6 run dice?

Don't have the 'Nid book, but if Onslaught allows you to Shoot and Run in the same phase (you can't normally do both), and if Adrenal Glands give Fleet, then yeah.

That way,then left

Onslaught is run then shoot. Try again.

If I remember correctly it says run and shoot. No limitation on which comes first

Never underestimate the Genestealers ability to sweeping advance EVERYTHING!

Except you remember wrong sir. "Whilst this power is in effect, the target unit can both Run then shoot in its shooting phase."

I was happy for a brief moment....
