So my FLGS (Legion Games) recently had their building bought out so had to move to the building one wall over. Now these two building share a front door and seperate at a fork. Now the funny part about this is that the store that bought out our huge hallway-like building happened to be a lingerie store which I find to be very silly since all we have to do is turn our heads to the left and there are tons of women shopping there meanwhile right next to them are basically the opposite of what that store stands for. Whats even more humorous is that when the women walk in they try to hide their faces or try to draw as little attention to themselves as possible when within LoS to us when we couldnt really care since we are enjoying ourselves rolling dice and pushing toy soldiers around. One of the kids that plays here asked if it was bad that the lovely ladys kept trying to avoid us and not be noticed and I promptly responded "dont worry it doesnt matter if they dont want to be around you right now, because later in life they'll have to because you'll be their boss" (he's a smart kid, he got the joke)

Ahh wall of text. Broke it up a bit.
I can see this will make for some interesting times in the future.
Ensure you continue to accidentally throw dice in the lingerie store and take an extended period to retrieve them. Comments not mandatory but recommended. Things like "Oh ho ho, I don't know my own strength!" or "Sorry, slippery hands" are my suggestions.

Yeah seems like two very different demographics. I don't know about your local group but with the exception of a few, most my group isn't exactly capable of being smoothe or even PC around well... women in general ... haha
I personally couldn't ask for much better to look at while waiting for my opponent to roll dice tho might start playing at your store

Dude that is way too creepy, the thought of guys doing that while women are just trying to buy underwear actually kind of freaks me out.
I have never understood how/why people feel awkward about buying underwear, it's not like you are trying them on in the middle of the store. Though, having a bunch of mouth breathers staring at you while playing with man dollies is a whole another thing haha

Nothing like a little sexism to spice up the thread.
My old FLGS now shares a wall with a tattoo parlor. I can't speak for the demographic overlap, but the tattoo guys painted up a big cool fantasy mural for the stores out front. I'm sure there's a bit more overlap with a tattoo parlor than with a lingerie store and a game store though.

I just imagined some women overhearing some IG player talking about how his "main cannon exploded all over the other guys". Poor wording on my part, but I think you get the gist.

In the wargamers defence, they were there first. And as we all know from being children, that entitles you to really anything you want.

Well, that would explain all the horrified shoppers. I guess that was my bad, then.

Just be cautious when talking about "rear armour penetration" (bonus points for Necron vehicles and the "first penetration"). My tiny gaming group often jokes about that, but we play in a pretty isolated room so there's no overhearers.

I never understood why man cry after their team loses or get happy when it wins , when a few months later the whole thing starts over again from scratch. Now I can understand why a sportsman cries , the fact that a big ass add contract may just not be going your way , because you lost must hurt . But man that never do sports , act as if they were actualy playing the game themselfs . Confusing if you ask me .

Here is the true test. Buy a bunch of toys at the game store, then, with said toys in the stores bags, go into the lingerie store shopping and all the while talking gaming strategy.
