So, I had the idea of making an army of beastmen in a Scottish theme. Using the older bestigors(because personally I think the new ones look rubbish) ive started to do a test scheme on it since that unit gave me the idea for this project. I am gonna make them like Scottish hill tribe like . Hopefully I can get some greenstuff (also would love some tips about using GS) and make kilts. So obviously I would not be running chariots but minotaurs and all that jazz can be scottified so to speak. would like some feedback

Yes, the obvious question will be whether they'll all be wearing tartan and/or kilts. Not saying they should, but people will ask. Kilts should be a relatively easy GS project.
Theme-wise it seems fine. So you'll have no wheeled units of any kind? If you're happy with the army list limitations that will force on you, fine - the other option is to get creative with counts-as, e.g. thinking up some Scottish-themed model of roughly the same size as a chariot and believably having the same stats as a chariot (e.g. speed and toughness) which can count-as a chariot for games. Nothing immediately occurs to me, although I suppose bestial mutations could excuse quite a lot...

TBH, I thought this was going to be about making an army of the famous Scottish wild highland haggis.
As opposed to the more domesticated lowland haggis.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.
That is not dead which can eternal lie ...
... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

Have you seen the kilt legs from Victoria Miniatures?
The come in Metal - Standing and Metal - Kneeling.
Also come in Resin - Standing and Resin - Kneeling
Chop off the feet and replace them with hooves and you have some awesome kilted beastmen.

Will they be wearing the English version of the kilt, or the Scottish version though I wonder

If you want to go the comedy route, some haggis monsters would be fun, and easy to sculpt.

Get some sort of tyranid model from 40k, slap it on a squared base. At least it will look how haggis tastes.
