So, rulebook says that model's tail and wings are not targetable.
but with this model http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat440299a&prodId=prod2340092a
where does the tail endds and body begins?
Is crone's "undertail thingi" considered tail or body or what?

As a tyranid player, I'd just ignore the wings, because of that tail delimitation problem.

The tail obviously ends when it meets up with the carapace on the body.

If in doubt though, just realize anything sticking out past the base is probably somthing you should ignore for LOS.

The beginning of the tail is at the base of the spine, so the tail would begin at the point where the 2 lowest limbs are.

Also ignored are the wings, weapons, spikes and spore chimneys.

I have a peanut allergy. It's really inconsiderate.

The answer may lie in a 4+ roll off with your opponent as many people will have different opinions as to what is "right".

As in, which part does the tail start. Because there are all the scaled bits at the beginning part of it.

Seems rather obvious. Of course the scaled part would be included!

I think it would start where the scales end, so further to the right than you have shaded in there.

Nope, that's where tails start, right at the bottom of the spine where the hind legs join to the pelvis.

Pretty sure you can use your brain to wrap that area around. crone the guns wouldn't be part of it though.

GW RAW can give me a headache sometimes.

You forgot to highlight the two arms that the wings are connected to.

those are wings, not arms. Wings are explicitly not targetable.

I looked at them as arms, the wings are just attached. I could see going either way on that though.

No they are arms with wings attached to them.

Wings are simply arms that have been modified to allow flight.
Also, the guns aren't viable targets either, StarHunter25, and your outline has a bit of the tail in it.
