Hey,
My name is Eve and this is my story
From the beginning I was painting as a hobby for my husband and friends. It turned out that I'm doing this pretty good Now I am working as a commision painter. Thing that gives me the most satisfaction is painting freehands. You can see it in my photo gallery. I am able to paint almost anything. I am limited only by imagination and space on the model.
My first commercial work are Dire Avengers. I chose this unit because I love the Warhammer 40k fluff and it was a nice change from the Warmachine. I chose an unusual turquoise and green colors of this because it fits into my concept of Mymeara Craft World. I have to admit that I spent a lot of time and put all my heart to make them look just like I imagined.
Dire Avengers is part of a bigger project. I also plan to paint Wave Serpents, War Walkers, Jet Bikes. All vehicles and models will be linked by a common theme - Gorgon as a free hand. It was a great pleasure to paint it on both banners and I think that it looks really nice.
You will find more models on my FB: https://www.facebook.com/lucrezzia.belladonna/photos_albums
Feel free to contact me via e-mail: lucrezzia.belladonna@gmail.com if you have any questions about my work.

For some reason the pictures don't work for me, show up with that breakage sign.

Life is like a box of chocolates. A cheap, thoughtless and perfunctory gift nobody ever asked for. Unreturnable because all you get back is another box of chocolates. So you're stuck with this undefinable whipped mint crap that you mindlessly wolf down because there's nothing left to drink. Sure once in a while there's a peanut butter cup or a English toffee, but they're gone too fast and the taste is fleeting. So you end up with nothing but broken bits of hardened jelly and teeth shattering nuts. If you're desperate enough to eat those all you've got left is a. An empty box, filled with useless brown paper wrappers. |

1. Only last 2 don't work? :<
2. I use 00 brush made by small polish company. It is a lot smaller than citadel's fine detail.
3. The jetbikes are almost done. So in a couple of days I'll spam you with more freehands

Can't choose a favourate as they are all jaw droppingly good!
I for one am in envy & awe of your talents, freehand is the one skill I'd love to have. But its just far beyond my skill level and I wouldn't know where to begin.
Keep the pics coming, they are truely a marvel to behold

Ok... I just checked my brushes. I have two kinds. The first is 00 MAG – POL - cheap but not great quality. The second are Lineo (German company). Available on Internet. They are made of a weasel hair. They have a lot of types - I am using 3/0. I would definitely recommend them!
Hmm… I'm thinking about making a tutorial but I still feel too amateur I paint freehand on a white base. You can easily sketch on it and even use the eraser. It is good to think through in advance what you want to paint and make sketches on paper. You can also simply copy something from Internet etc.
I’ve noticed that boobs are always loved I just like to paint women, they are aesthetically pleasing. Besides, I also paint flowers, signs, skulls, various patterns. I could also paint an animal or a knight but as I have a free choice I always wring towards Slaanesh ^^.

Are you insane! Your not at all amateur! I for one would be most grateful for a tutorial to get me underway in the world of freehand. I often have many ideas for company banners and have a chapter banner sat undercoated and untouched because I'd like to do something epic on the back of the banner (the front is modelled so can just paint that up nice ) but don't know what and even if I did I've got no idea how to transfer that vision to model without it looking like one of my son's nursey paintings

Dunno really I've only really thought about company banners for my chapter (or legion ) and they are classified lol. What would be perfect would be a basic idea as to the process eg, basic mini painting is undercoat, basecoat, washes, drybrushing & vanishing. From this basis I've made and inproved my own style. But freehand just stumps me completely :(

I do mainly Space Wolves, so how about some celtic knotwork.
It would also be good for dwarves & elves in lord of the rings and fantasy too.

The banner with the flowers is lovely and I really like the red of the cloak, the pattern is great.
Don't worry about the tutorial, by the quality of these miniatures we can see why
