Liked the comic strip, don't care much for the cartoon.

I don't think I saw season 3, but I liked this show quite a lot.

I found some strips and yeah, totally different. I can see easily how fans of one might not like the other. The show has a lot less subtlety.

I discovered this show from a professor of mine a few years back. He was 77 years old and was one of his favorite shows.

Could not believe an old man of his generation liked it.

If there was ever a lesson about not stereotyping it is a Old white guy who went to UCLA and Harvard is a fan of the Boondocks.

Random fact of the day: His wife was room mates with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's girl friend in college.

I definitely dug the strip more than the cartoon. Mcgruder can sometimes get off on tangents that stop being funny after a little bit, but a couple of the strips are some of the funniest comic strips I've ever seen. (The one where Huey tells Jasmine that she's 'blacker than Shaft in Africa' had me rollin.')

Can't say I'm overly thrilled, for the same reasons posted above. The cartoon absolutely lacks subtlety. The show is a little too proud of itself and way too often saying "Look at me! Look at how clever and EDGY I am! LOOK AT MEEEEE!"

Dude, it's on Adult Swim. It's almost ludicrously understated compared to the rest of their lineup.

Oh without a doubt. But to be fair, I stopped watching Adult Swim like...3 or 4 years ago.

Your discovery of Babymetal was more relevant to my interests. I am now addicted. Thanks.
