This is true, but theres a limit. When the random completely feths us over except on a SINGLE result out of many possibilities, its not fair in the slightest. Ork badness should be happening on a 1, not a freakin 2+.
I cant believe that entire post about the codex leak. Not a damn thing makes any sense or sounds good. I just cant believe GW would feth up Orks that badly, which is basically their secondary poster-child of the game. Its always SM vs Orks in almost every picture, poster, etc etc so i just cannot believe they would give us the finger.
Unless it was true Matt Ward wrote the book. Then i can believe it, the fethhead doesnt like greenskins and hes made that publicly known.

How is "badness" happening on a 2+?
Seriously: if you take big mobs you pass. If you take nobs, big meks, painboyz, warbosses, etc. you pass. If you're in CC you autopass - bosspoles let you reroll those results if you wish - it's not as good as always being fearless but it's definitely not a total screwover.

The Mob Rule result happens instead of the result of a failed leadership test (or possibly just a morale test, that bit isn't too clear). Most of the results of a failed Ld test are much worse than taking a few S 4 hits.

The thing Im most excited about in these leaks are the boarding planks. Sounds like if you get out of an open topped vehicle with a boarding plank you get +2" on the assault. That's 2d6+2" with a reroll of one of the dice. That will basically cancel the hindering terrain negative OR give you +2" making it an average of a 9" assault before your one reroll. This could be a big help with vehicles getting more resilient in 7th. Or am I completely wrong on this?

Right, home with a pint of cider in me, and several more in the fridge...
Weirdboys gain a Warp Charge point if there are 10 or more models with the 'ere we go rule (Pretty much any Ork from what I've seen) in 12" but has to take a psychic save or take a hit.
Power of the Waaagh! and Daemonlogy disciplines.
Can be upgraded to Psyker level 2.
Primaris power is Frazzle (Blast witchfire).
'Eadbanger is now a focussed witchfire.
Warpath is a self blessing
Da jump is what used to be 'ere we go.
Killbolt is a beam attack.
Power vomit (Yes really) is a template witchfire.
Da Krunch is a barrage witchfire.

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe. |

I think the point is that, in the current codex, we didn't have to choose between one of those things: neither of them happened, because we got fearless straight up.
It's a nerf, without question, but it's one of a great many changes that have yet to be seen. No sense getting rustled... yet.

Well, it allows for a 50% chance to stay in combat with small mobs containing a character, so it's kind of a buff for trukkboyz.

Hrmm, still works to buy and download now. I thought they'd of fixed it. But the codex is really cool! Automatically Appended Next Post: My current personal favourite: Warboss with Mega Armour, git Finda, Da Finkin Kap and Ded Shiny Shoota for a slow and purposeful, 2 warlord trait flash git stile boss. Who would confer said rule to a git unit and therefore to my understanding always be BS3.

Ded shiny shoota: 6 shots twinlinked shoota, rolls of 1 hit one of your own units. The bike relic has an AP3 deff gun on it, Hedwompas choppa is a +2 str, AP5, rending choppa that beheads on a roll of 6 (insta death). Da finkin kap gives your warlord an additional trait from the strategic list.
Big Mek doesnt change your FoC, nor does warboss (no more nob/dred troops).
Mek is a slotless HQ, 1 per actual HQ bought
Ghaz can take runts/squigs, but looks the same, its lord of war.
Ork psychic powers are all cool. Either high strength, or teleport, large blast etc.
Shock attack gun roll of double 6 is vortex!!!
