As many of you know the design team had a Google+ hang out around midnight EST the night of March 31 to take questions about the new Taurox kit. If you weren't able to joing the transcript is below.

Mod - Welcome everyone, I'm here with several members of the Games Workshop design team to talk about our latest tank model, the mighty Taurox and Taurox Prime, signature transport of the Militarum Tempestus, which go on sale in a few days. Let's open up the floor to your questions!

Rob from Fulchester - Wow, how do you keep making such great kits?

Mod - Thank you for that great question! Well the most important thing is to keep looking for inspiration from history and science fiction and video ga-

Tommy from Notingham - Ahem

Mod - Sorry, I meant to say the most important thing is to make up and invent new things totally out of your own imagination and only look to your company's IP to develop new properties.

Gav from Brighton - I read on the internets that the Taurox can take punisher cannons and battle cannons! is that true?

Mod - thanks for your question Gav. In fact the Taurox Prime, the signature vehicle of the Imperial Storm

Tommy from Notingham - Ahem

Mod - I mean the Militarum Tempustus can take a Taurox pattern gattling cannon OR a Taurox Pattern Battle Cannon, which are ALMOST the same thing!

Drew from London - Can orks loot dat?

Mod - Um, sure. Why not.

Rick from Newcastle - Can Tallan take a Taurox? Does that fit with their background?

Mod - Who? I'm not familiar with them.

Rick from Newcastle - Tallarn Desert Raiders! They're an Imperial Guard regiment like the Mordians and the Valhallans!

Mod - Well if they're your own homebrew regiment, sure why not.

Rick from Newcastle - No, no they've been part of the IG

Tommy from Notingham - Ahem

Mod - I think you mean the Astra Militarum.

Rick from Newcastle - Since 2nd edition! They're a classic metal reigm-

Mod - Oops. I think we lost him. Next question please.

Drew from London - That thing is awesome! Can it turn into a robot?

Mod - Um, sure. I guess. I mean if you have enough plasticard why not?

Mat from Derbyshire - Why the hell would you put guns on the rear fender like that? I mean how would you even aim them? And won't you shoot your own guys disembarking from the side? Are you slowed or what?

Mod - thank you for your question, I agree, the Taurox is definitely one of the best kits GW has ever put out for the Imperial G-

Tommy from Notingham - Ahem

Mod - I mean the Astra Militarum.

Mat - that's not my question! What the he-

Mod - Oops, looks like we lost him.

Andy from Ashton-under-Lyne - That thing is awesome! Will you have epic rules for it?

Mod - I agree, the rules for it are certainly epic!

Andy from Ashton-under-Lyne - No, no, I mean rules for Epic 40k, the specialist game.

Mod - I'm not familiar with that, we generally don't support fan projects.

Andy from Ashton-under-Lyne - No, no, no it's a specialist game from GW-

Mod - Oops, looks like we lost him.

Tim from America - How about rules for Only War?

Mod - As I said we don't support fan suppliments but feel free to invent your own rules.

Tim from America - No, no, no, Only War, the RPG? By FFG? It's licenced by GW, it's an official produ-

Mod - Oops, looks like we lost him.

Mod - Well it looks like that's all we have time for today, be sure to join us next week when we discuss the new Imperial Guard St-

Tommy from Notingham - Ahem

KK you are evil you know? Kirby won't be able to sleep for a week thinking that their IP fortress has been breached if the design team now uses this passing fad of the internets.

Well, yeah, but to be fair it was an April fool's that was kind of making fun of GW, so Kan had a moral obligation to jump to his lady's defence... It is in his contract you know... Those fortress walls and moat aren't going to defend themselves!

As an April Fools Joke, this was not particularly funny, nor particularly evil.

A great April Fools would have been to mock up some new FAQs with crazy rulings to look like official GW documents.
