After I saw the non scion version of the Taurox, I thought it could look pretty good with a little work. So here is my version, I used the Large Tires from Blood and Skulls Industry. So let me know what you guys think.

I'm liking the influx of Taurox conversions recently. This is definitely one of the better ones I've seen. The dozer works well.

The only comment I've had on all of them thus far is that I'd rework the front wheel arch to conform more with the tyre.

Nice work.

Great conversion! Consider that stolen!

Any chance we can get some pics from underneath? I would love to see your wheel mounting and spacing.

It would look good with a fender flare that came down like this one. Perhaps some plasticard?

I don't understand why GW didn't make the Tourax have wheels by default. THis looks better then the guad tread thing GW released.

Yeah, that's the only issue with the 4 or 6 wheeled conversions I've seen - the wheels unavoidably just don't fit the ex-track cavity shape/size. Some sort of plasticard extension like this is probably the simplest solution - I'd like to see it done well (so I can copy it )

Awesome. I'm looking to do the same thing minus the dozer blade. I like the fenders fine, the v-shaped hull looks like it is designed to mitigate land mine blasts, round fenders would catch too much blast. IMO

Well, it looks A LOT better than the stock version, that's for sure.

Nice work.

you wouldn't happen to have a rhino and a chimera for a side-by-side, would you?

That looks very good. It looks so much better than the tracks.

That looks far less offensive to the eye as a wheeled vehicle.

Looks alot better than the base model, though the vehicle seems a little...high for me.

Just a thought, if it's possible maybe lower the chassis so that there is less of a gap between the wheels and the track guards?

Hey guys, thanks for the comments and critiques. I have tried to answer most of your questions below.

Any chance we can get some pics from underneath? I would love to see your wheel mounting and spacing.

This is what I have for now, until I can get a tutorial done for the second taurox. Stupid me, forgot to take pictures for all of the steps and this is the last pic I have of the bottom before I began adding details which covered most of it up.

Can you offer tips and also links.

Here is where I got the tires from:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Tires-Large-6-/261450614890?

And the best tip that I can give is test fit before you glue, other than that this conversion is extremely easy to do.

Nice work.

Here you are:

I am still considering how best to do that, one thing that I was considering was extending the rear fender about 1/4" and then adding mudflaps.

I decided to keep the vehicle sitting as high as it is because to me the Taurox looks like an MRAP and they also sit pretty high up.

Fair enough, tis probably just the large gap between the wheels and the track guards that give me that impression.

When I first saw the Taurox I disliked it. The tracks were just wrong. Your conversion is an outstanding visual improvement to the model. Well done.

hey dude, good conversion, although with 6 wheels id say its more like a Buffalo 6x6 rather than the MRAP we are all familiar with through BF4 etc...
i done my own conversion of this here...

I think everyone will agree - Wheels > Tracks!

I'm not too sure about the dozer blade though...

It looks just that bit too wide. Personally I'd look to trim it down a bit.

I think the wheels look better than the tracks, but I agree that the mud guard looks odd because it's clearly designed for something longer than the wheel you're using.

Also, I really like the Leman Russ, how'd you do that conversion?
